Stopped squealing rotor

I have had a squealing rotor on my Enduro bike for about a year and it's been very annoying. I swapped the OEM SRAM rotor for a new one and that didn't work. I think that the increased thickness of this rotor has reduced the squeal, finally.

REI terrible service

REI sent a used mtb rotor. the box was clearly open. Did not even bother to re-tape it. Parts were missing and rotor was previously used. Checked w digital caliber and no point was still at 2.0mm
