More like a bike short fit. Ran slim. I am 5'5, 135 pounds, curvy, muscular build. The shorts fit, if you want them to be like bike shorts. Loved no gapping in the waist (this is always a problem for me). I wanted a more casual, loose fit but going up in size wouldn't work, I just think I didn't like the style. Quality seemed good. Returning.

I wear the shorts kayaking, exercising, & to do errands. I bought a small (usually wear an x small) so it is roomy but doesn’t fall off. The pockets are deep to hold my phone.

I like these shorts! They are good for a number of athletic applications but I feel comfortable wearing them out and about. Decent pocket options as well. I am a fan of the way they fit: looser around my thighs while snugging up more around my hips and butt area. And can be worn as spandex without underwear with the coverage they provide.

I honestly can not convey the active comfort the skorts provide. Looks great, stylish, modern look and feel. Highly recommend. I now have 6 = black, tan, green, gray, blue (all the colors).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I stumbled upon this skort accidentally and fell in love with it because the inner shorts are longer than other similar brands (so they don't ride up when I'm walking/hiking/playing sports) AND have higher coverage up to my belly button. That one is important to me because I don't have a nipped in waist. So the higher coverage is just secure enough (not TOO tight) and long enough to smooth me out under whatever shirt I'm wearing - and helps to keep the skorts in place (not sliding down my hips). Great quality of material. Having pockets on both sides is a great perk. Washes and dries well without too much wrinkling and without shrinking. My favorite skorts of all the ones I've tried over the last few years!

I have had these about 2 weeks, in the blue and the gray. Have to say I like the blue shorts much better but the gray are functional and easy to throw on any color shirt. I have worn these for pickleball, gardening, errands. I will live in these until the weather cools. I used to wear skorts mostly. These are just long enough but not too long. I feel so much better in these shorts than the skorts. Love, love, love them! I’m 65, recently retired. But I do think when sized properly these would look equally cool on a younger lady. I get lots of compliments.

I love these shorts! I got the black first and came back for the charcoal, which in my opinion is somewhere between navy and charcoal, but I really like the color. The 2nd pair fit just like the 1st, which doesn't always happen, so I appreciate the size consistency. At 5'3" 132 lbs. with more of a pear shape, the medium fits me well even though in other brands I'm usually a small. The size chart is correct. I'd describe these as an elevated gym short with a nicer, slightly longer length than most and very flattering.

These are great lightweight shorts. They fit snug for me as a small. I bought a medium but they were too big. I’m 5 ft 4 in, 71 yrs, weigh 143 lbs..I thought for sure my size was med but no go. I’ll keep the mediums for sleeping.

I ordered an XS for my mom whose 5’0 and 95 lbs and It fits her perfectly! It’s her favorite shorts now. They are perfect summer time shorts. You can dress it up or down.

Fit is perfect and skort is very flattering. Love the subtle curved hem and the almost-invisible side pockets. Fabric feels durable but looks and washes well - much more refined and stylish than just a plain sporty skort. I wear mine to work!
