Fancy Dust Will Cost You

I absolutely LOVE this chalk. Seriously. I have gone through a couple bags and really like the feel of it and how long it lasts on my hands. However, my Unicorn is starting to eat holes in my wallet and sadly I think it's time for me to make the switch to Black Diamond's climbing chalk. But if you've got the bucks for it, I definitely recommend!

Worth the extra cost

Chalk is chalk, is what I always said before unicorn dust. This is definitely a step up in how fine chalk can get. And it comes in a mix of dust and broken chunks too, so you can fumble your tips in mid climb and also use a chunk to apply it evenly before approaching. The extra cost definitely goes into how little you have to use per attempt, and how long before you need to reapply it. I perspire a little more than the average person, and i rarely had to touch up mid climb. I would recommend this for people that definitely perspire more than most.

Lasts longer

I've only used Black Diamond White Gold prior to this but I've got to say, I can really tell the difference with Unicorn Dust. As the products states and other reviewer have commented, this stuff just stays on your hands longer. I find I have to chalk up maybe once in a route compared to the White Gold that I'd have to dip into three to four times. It's like it just gets deeper into your finger prints and palms. The price is steep but it's defiantly a superior product.

Just like a unicorn, this stuff is magical!

I've used this product several times now and I will never go back to regular block chalk. FrictionLabs's chalk will stick to your hands and keep them dry for a lot longer than typical chalk will. I would typically have to reapply chalk throughout sending a route, but now I only have to apply chalk 2-3 times per climbing session. Even though this chalk is a bit pricier, it is definitely worth the money!

LOVE

I'm a huge fan of loose chalk because I need the extra coating for my super sweaty hands that I don't get from a chalk ball. FrictionLabs chalk is really grippy and works well for me when I climb.

Great chalk!

Being pretty new to climbing, haven't tried out many other chalks. But this chalk is pretty superior to the others that I have tried.

Really fine, powdery chalk

This chalk is really fine powder which I'm not used to. I know some people love this stuff and if you like fine pow then you probably will as well. But I am always having to find myself slapping my legs or torso to remove the extra pow from my hands, otherwise my hands are like slippery with how much chalk are on them. Again, other people claim not to have this problem, so it may just be personal preference or how much my hands sweat, idk.

Best Chalk By Far

If you're a fan of quality this is the chalk for You! This chalk remains in the tiny crevices of my hands even after washing twice. It is by far the highest quality chalk I have ever purchased, and I will never purchase a different chalk again.
