Not for kids 9 and under apparently
Who are these for? I purchased for my 8 year old assuming that 110 cm skis marked for beginner/intermediate would have bindings that could be adjusted for someone in the appropriate height range for the ski. With a lowest din of 2 a child under 9 would need a weight of 78 pounds to meet that accoirding the technicians at the ski shop. A child an appropriate height for 110 cm skis who weighs 78 lbs or more has class 2 obesity. And a child over 9 who is the appropriate height for 110 cm is below the 20th percentile for height. I guess if you fall in one of those they are good skis but it seems like atomic did not plan well for these skis
binding mismatch
REI description states designed for 5-8 year olds but din setting only goes down to 2 (my daughter needs a 0.75 for safe reliable releases). have talked with REI, I am hoping to just swap out the bindings, as this would be the simplest solution, will update with how it goes.
