I was excited to receive this as the description made it sound like exactly what I was looking for- a lightweight rain jacket. I guess I didn't pay enough attention to the description, but when it arrived and I tried it on, I realized there were no pockets to put your hands in! There was one on the right side that faced the opposite direction, so you couldn't actually put your hand in- I guess it's just for dry storage. Still, there is no way I wear a jacket of any kind I can't keep my hands dry/warm in. In addition to this, I found it a bit tight- room under for only a shirt, no layers. Very tight around my hips.
I bought this jacket because it has been raining more frequently in my area of California and I still want to hike or at least walk every day. So far it has kept me dry, and it is more breathable than some other jackets I've tried. I usually buy a small but due to reviews and because I wanted to have room for another layer underneath if it's cold so I purchased medium. This is not a cold weather rain jacket. It folds up small in my backpack and is really just what I wanted in a rain jacket.
Sizing is off and couldn’t return, it’s too tight around hips.
