Solid winter bag

Received free product

It's a bit early for snow but I hiked a few miles with the bag to test it out. Overall I'm happy with it's feature set and utility. I'm 5'9, 220lb and I'm probably about as large as you can reasonably fit into the S/M size pack. The belt and straps did all manage to adjust to comfort but there won't be much room for anyone bigger. The pack is relatively lightweight but the fabric does seem durable and water resistant enough for ski and snowshoe use. The hip belt is basically an elastic belt and it does move nicely with the body. There is a generous hydration system space and the tube stores inside an insulated sleeve on the right shoulder strap if it's cold enough out to freeze the tube. There are four compartments total: the main compartment that also has a sleeve for hydration systems, an avalanche rescue tool pouch, a small top pouch for keys and small things, and a small zippered pocket on the right exterior. All function well but I did find it would be difficult to access any compartment with skis strapped on in A-frame configuration. The side pocket is supposed to be accessible on a chair lift and I believe it would be. I like the bright orange interior color for contrast to find my things inside. The back panel also looks nice and should shed snow readily. The zipper pulls have glove friendly rings on them. I did mount a set of snowshoes on the back with the included straps and found it reasonably secure. I also fit my skis on it in A-frame and it worked well enough. I would recommend sizing the lower side straps at home as these are the traditional sliding buckle adjust that can't be done easily with gloves. The upper side straps and both back panel straps have a nifty cam locking adjustment that can be easily adjusted with gloves. I found it best to lift the tail end of the straps to open the cam. The back panel straps do tuck into a pocket if not needed. Overall I'm happy to add this snow pack to my gear locker.

Amazing pack, ergonomic design, VERY comfortable!

Received free product

I have put about 15 day hikes in, both long and short (2-8 miles) and have to admit, this pack is probably the most comfortable one I have, period. I think a huge part of that is the elastic waist support, which allows you to move around while still keeping the bag next to your body! The curves, and strap layoutand great too! It has well laid out pocket designs, and easy to use features (zip up shoulder pocket to lace hydration in). There are quite a few ways to secure items to the outside of the pack, and it pretty low profile against your back. We have not had much snow yet, but I am sure it'll be great to have on the slopes this winter!

Backpack for winter activities

Received free product

Overall the bag is okay. I got the carbon bronze color. I wished the color was brighter or more vibrant for a snowy adventure. The bag has a lot of straps that was cumbersome. When it was not attached to snow gear, I tried to put the straps in the side compartments but it didn’t go in easily. I like the side pocket for phone or key storage. The bag was comfortable and easy to open with mittens on. There’s a compartment for a water reservoir but it would have been nice to have a side pocket for a water bottle as well.

Snow pack also good on the trails

Received free product

The pack is so versatile. The colors are neutral and very sharp. The fabric is water repellent and appears easy to clean. The one small issue I had with this bag is there appears to have additional straps/buckles on the front, ones not pictured or mentioned in the details. These could be very handy for additional gear that doesn’t fit inside, however the buckles were very difficult to loosen. Once I figured out they were locking buckles (which is a smart idea but never mentioned), they were very tight and I needed assistance to unlock the first time. The nice thing is the front of the pack has little hidden slits for the straps to fit into, so if/when you don’t need those extra straps, they can be stored away. Also, one small annoyance as a left-handed person is the “snack pocket” is only on the right side, and no pocket at all on the left. Overall this pack is a great bag for any day trip on the slopes or on the trails!

Great Utility Pack

Received free product

This is a great overall pack. The external straps are strong and secure enough to hold my 157cm volume shifted snowboard. The interior pockets have good organization and the larger access zippers are super convenient. Using the adjustable shoulder and waist straps was intuative and gave a great overall fit. I would recommend it for someone looking for a smaller sized snow or skateboard pack.

A great Ski / Winter Backpack

Great Pack. Fits perfectly. Love the belt. Barely know it’s on your back. Lots of room for essentials. Highly recommend and would definitely go with the larger bag , the 18 vs the 12. Enjoy!!!

Small and mighty

This bag is a great daypack. There are 2 full length compartments that fit so much. The waist strap is very comfortable and fully adjustable. The shoulder straps are very cushioned. The back panel is ribbed for airflow and comfort. There are lots of straps to secure larger/longer items to the bag. This bag would work great on the slopes or hiking in the winter. The fabric is water repellent and very durable.

Perfect fit for a day at the resort

Really impressed by this backpack!! It's hard for me to want to ski with a backpack but I oftentimes have gopros in the pockets along with snacks and wish I could store some water or a layer. The Verte 18L was perfect for that! Fit all of my basic items as well as the side zip for my phone because my current bib pocket is positioned on my rib cage and it jams my phone into my ribs when I bend over to buckle my boots or take a big compression on a bump. This 18L pack fit really well, contoured to my body, was flexible but supportive. I like the padded shoulder straps and love the elastic hipbelt!!! Huge improvement over other packs on the market without elasticity in the hipbelt. Also oversized buckles for it were easy to work with. Would absolutely recommend this bag for anyone skiing resorts that doesn't want a bag that is overkill / bulky for the day but wants performance, a great fit, and good style!
