Not the best design or quality

External mesh pockets are missing. Expansive for what it is. Zippers are hard and get stuck.

Great Resort Day Pack!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this backpack for resort days when I wanted to pack snacks and other small things I'd need throughout the day. It works perfectly for this. I feel like it fits everything I would want it to for a full day and I love that it lays flat on my back so it doesn't feel like a nuisance on chair lifts or while I'm skiing. The pocket for a water reservoir and insulated sleeve is nice as well and makes it easy to stay hydrated during the day I like the stretchy waistband a lot because it provides support comfortably with all my layers. #giftedproduct

I started using this pack last skiing season and was instantly a fan. I love being able to stay hydrated while skiing/snowboarding and also being able to carry a couple essentials like tools, snacks, extra layer in addition to the hydration bladder. My wife just got one for an early christmas present because she was using mine on the chair lift. great pack, comfy stretchy waists strap makes it really secure for riding.

Can I get it it a other color though?

One color option... that is love it or hate it. I can't get past poor variety for the customers. Add another color at least.

Don't expect it to arrive on time

Until REI reaches out to me and confirms they have stopped the bait and switching of shipping expectations on this product, it will remain a 1 star review. When ordering, expect it at least 2 weeks after the confirmed shipment date. Complete bait and switch here. I am a member and REI can reach out to help repair this customership.

Versatile Bag

Not only is this bag great for a day on the slopes, it’s my go to small pack for cross country skiing, shorter hikes & even as a carry on. It’s lightweight, comfy and wide zipper pulls make for easy access to the pockets, even with gloves on. I’m 5’5” and this bag fits my frame great. The insulated reservoir sleeve & the key clip are a nice touch. The only thing I would change would be to have one more zippered pocket on the inside. My contents remained dry in inclement weather.  Great little bag, would recommend for its versatility!

Well Featured, but still compact!

This backpack has all the features you could want like easy to reach pockets even without taking the bag off, insulated hydration sleeve, and even an amazing elastic hip belt. Despite all of the features it is small and compact which makes it great for wearing in the ski resort.
