This was my 3rd pair of this model. So comfy and light. Got me to love running again!
I like the all black look of the sneaker. The heel height is high. I like the cushion insole. The overall fit I am getting used to it. There seems to be a lot of room in the front which makes me feel my foot is not relaxed and is doing more work to grip something. I had to train myself to relax my feet which has put less pressure on my feet. I was initially going to return the sneakers, but it is working for me. I bought another sneaker at the same time, and I like the other one better. I don't think i would buy this style again.
I’ve been wearing gel-kayanos for decades. Still the most comfortable athletic shoe - and not just for running. Toe box is spacious, especially for wide width wearers, perfect arch support and the sole is like walking on a cloud.
I returned sneakers and asics will not issue a refund
These are just..ok. I've worn keyano's for years, but these are different. Not necessarily bad, just different. I will say, I've been wearing these for less than 3 months, and the sole is already peeling off, so I'm not thrilled about that.
Well I’ve had Asics shoes for at least 15 years and never had a problem with them. This pair seems to be coming apart at the bottom front of the shoe. I will be getting hold of someone to help resolve this problem.
My new Gel-Kayano 30 shoes fit well (women's 9) and are very cushy and comfortable. The arch support falls in the correct position. I feel steady and solid when walking in these shoes, and I am 82yo. I ordered a 1/2 size larger than usual, which worked out fine with ample room for a cushy sock. I have only had these shoes for a month. I plan to use them to do power walks a couple of times per week and also for visiting museums and other places where the cement floors are very hard. I do not have any comments related to the shoe's durability. This is my first pair of Asic shoes, and I am happy that a friend told me about this brand.
to be completely honest, i bought these to replace my HOKAs. i’m a nurse who works 3 12 hour shifts a week, constantly on my feet. i also have flat feet and overpronated ankles. i have issues with my hips and back. to be completely transparent i am awaiting new inserts, so i haven’t worn inserts with these shoes yet. but i have been in so much pain after my shifts compared to my hokas (i wore inserts with those too). my calves, ankles, feet, back- everything is killing me. and yes i should be wearing inserts, but i’m just saying as the shoe itself- it’s not doing me justice. i truly hope having inserts helps, if not- i will need to return
I walk ~5-10 miles/day and recently switched from wearing Nimbus because I noticed that my feet were overpronating in them leading to some knee issues and these were a suggested fix. The first few wears gave me blisters on the insides of my ankles I think because they're so much more structured than the Nimbus fit. I like that my feet feel much more supported than when I wore Nimbus and they're still really lightweight, but they're definitely not as cushioned and feel much harder (sad) than Nimbus which always felt like I was walking on marshmallows. I'll keep these but not sure what shoes I'll try next time as so far it's not total love.
I love these shoes. Very comfy and pretty. My foot is a little narrow and they’re great for me.
