Columbia  Bugaboot III XTM Boots - Men's

I went to the COLUMBIA store at the Grove city outlets and found THE BUGABOOT. I work outside all year round, so i need a boot that is 100% waterproof, reliable, durable, comfortable, and dependable that will keep my feet warm and dry in the rain and snow. Success. I found THE BUGABOOT 3 XTM BOOT. This is the perfect boot for trekking through deep snow and heavy rain. I was sold on THE BUGABOOTS reliability, durability, dependability and comfort. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This boot is great. The fit is perfect I just ordered a half size larger so I can wear heavy wool socks. They fit perfect with no hot spots and they keep my feet nice and warm. I had the same boot for 8 years previously and used it for hunting playing with the kids in the snow and have had no problems in -10 to -20 degree weather and I get cold easily. I only replaced them with new ones because I stepped on several nails at a construction site last winter and they started to leak from the holes. I definitely recommend this boot. It’s also a plus that it is taller for the deep stuff and stream crossings when hunting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great boot, and worked well for its first test in a typical Kentucky snow day. My feet stayed warm and dry all day. They are comfortable, but you should break them in before wearing them all day, and if you're going to be wearing them inside your feet will get hot. They have plenty of cushioning, and loosened up quite a bit after wearing, so don't be discouraged with how stiff they are when you first start wearing them. Others have mentioned that they run small and I'm glad I took their advice and went a half size larger than I normally wear. I'm very happy with these boots, and am happy to have something to keep my feet warm during the coming cold snap and snow.

The boots are beautiful, but hard to put on. My right ankle has a really hard time with the corner because the laces are fully threaded. My previous Bugaboot had hooks for the top 3 eyelets, so I could easily open the boot up to get into and out of the boot. Having fully threaded laces, it is much harder. I can un-thread and re-thread the top 3 eyelets, but what a pain that would be. And, the laces are too short (64") to loosen the boot up enough. I'm buying 72" laces, hoping that will help. I'll find out soon. The boot feels fantastic once my foot is in. They feel as awesome as my previous pair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Desperately needed boots that would keep my feet dry and warm. In weather that constantly dropped below 40 degrees. I figured I couldn't go wrong with a product that was made in the Pacific Northwest. Columbia didn't let me down. The boots worked better than expected. When they first arrived, I thought uh oh, I should've gotten the ones a little bit bigger. ( I read a few reviews suggesting that idea) Nope. I went with my size and made the right decision. They fit perfectly. I wear them all the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These boots are incredibly comfortable and warm. I found my normal size to be a little snug so I would suggest a size larger than normal. Especially if you like to wear thick socks. Have great traction on ice and snow. They are also tall so you don't get anything coming in over the top in deeper snow. I've had other boots similar to these, not Colombia brand that claim to be waterproof but these ones are the real deal. Feet are always dry and warm with these on. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read a lot of the reviews about this boot and the consistent message was that the boot ran "a little small." I wear a size 9 and I ordered a 9.5. The 9.5 was way too small even without a sock on. Make sure you order at least two sizes up depending on the thickness of the socks you plan to wear. Other than the sizing, this boot appears to be another solid product from Columbia. I will have to post a followup to this review when I get the correct size boot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered my normal size 10 and they were too small. Returned them and ordered an 11 and they are perfect. We recently went through a cold snap in Minnesota where it was 35 below and with the wind chill it was pushing 60 below zero. I wore these boot and my feet were very comfortable, but more importantly, my feet stayed warm. They look great, not bulky, incredibly warm, and even look good with my suits!!! I would buy these boot again in a heart beat!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband purchased this boots for our trip to NYC. He said they we comfortable, warm, and didn’t make his feet hurt. We walked around NYC for 5 days in temperature from 6-26 degrees. He never complained about cold feet nor discomfort. I do want to make one comment that his feet sweat and produced foot odor. He wore new socks the entire time. Also to be fair he wore them from 8am to about 10pm when we got back to our hotel. Great product 5 starts!

These boots....are a must have!!!! Very thankful to have made this purchase for my son!!! Keeps him warm and dry for an 8 hour workday, outside that is. After reading the reviews, I decided on a full size up from what he normally would be. And, glad I did!!! Fit was perfect!!! All around, giving these boots a 10+ stars!!!
