Outdoor Voices  The Exercise Dress

This active dress is so cute and comfortable that it's now a piece I grab for any occasion. This is the dress that will get you tons of compliments. It's really easy to dress up or down due to the cut, fabric, and hidden logo- so far, I've only worn it for casual daytime but plan to bring it with me on my upcoming trip to Switzerland as it is the perfect travel dress too. PROS: The dress has built-in shorts that have the non-slip grip on them... no need to keep pulling down the shorts after walking or sitting! Game changer! I also really like the adjustable straps. I've had an exercise dress from a different brand and the versatility and fit don't even come close to this dress's. Plus, it washes very well (I recommend line drying). CONS: There's no bust padding in this dress. I'm also not a super busty person (34B) and the XS fits me perfectly. I think if you're more busty it may be too tight. The price is also pretty steep imo but I do feel like you get your money's worth out of it with how versatile + comfortable it is.

I received these products for free from the REI Trailblazers sampling program in exchange for my honest review. With that, I'll say that I'm glad I received this product for free and did not pay for it. Cons: - The taped seams on the dress seem like they are 2-3 washes or wears away from peeling. - The lyrca/spandex on the shorts is very thin and seems like it'll easily bag/stretch after a few wears. I'm quite confused at this point why this material and quality would retail for this much. - There is a built-in bra, but it will not provide enough support beyond walking. If you plan to run or do impact activities in it, you will need to layer a sports bra. - The adjusters on the straps kept slipping/moving throughout the day, so I had to readjust. Pros: - There are internal pockets, on the shorts, on both legs for keys and phone. - It does look cute when out walking the dog. - The internal bodysuit/shorts is sized well enough that it's comfortable and not constricting.

This dress is very comfortable! It's great to wear for easy outdoor activities, errands on hot days, or even just around the house! As someone who likes to bike commute around town, I love having a dress with built in shorts. My only dislike is that there isn't much built in bra support.

This was a great dress in the beginning and I loved the fit …. But as soon as it goes through a few washes the straps start to fall apart. For a $100 dress, I expected better quality. Outdoor Voices has better quality dresses worth your money that don’t have flimsy straps that I recommend. I will say that their customer service is great and they gave me a store credit when I sent pictures of the dress straps.

The dress fits very well. However, it is a one piece garment so you have to take the whole thing off to use the restroom. The description should have alerted buyer of this important detail.

I absolutely love this dress. Not only was it extremely flattering, but I found it to be very functional and comfortable during my hike. Great pockets on short liner came in handy. Really wearable when chasing around my toddler as well!

So glad REI started carrying Outdoor Voices! I've been obsessed with the brand for YEARS. I love the exercise dress so much, I literally have in multiple colors. Lightweight, super comfy, exactly what I need for summer.

Ahk, I wish I read through the comments more. I can’t imagine hiking in this and having to take the whole thing off to use the restroom in the woods. Could you imagine?! Just squatting there stark naked taking a piddle in the woods with this bright pink dress at your feet. No thank you. No sir ree Bob.

I bought this a couple weeks ago from the REI garage sale and absolutely love it. It’s super easy to dress up or down and fits me perfectly. The only thing I don’t like about it is that the built in bra isn’t super supportive but I just wear a bra with it anyway.
