I’ve waited two decades to invest in a North face jacket, and I LOVE It, the colors, the style, the fit and I’m thankful.
I purchased this jacket in the Tnf Black/Midnight Mauve colorway. I would have never bought it based on online pictures alone, but I was in my local REI store and saw it in person and it is 12/10 so much prettier and vibrant in color than the website shows. The liner and zipper fabric is a super pretty vibrant purple color. Bonus points that the jacket pairs well with my North Face jungle print bibs from a few seasons back! I'm usually a size Large and I like my jackets a big bigger to accommodate layers and just being less restrictive. The large fits perfectly. It's lightweight, not too balky and warm! I like the two zipper chest pockets, the arm pit ventilation zippers. I'm 5'6" with a long torso and I LOVE the length of this jacket! It covers my bum! The only con I could find is that they season pass holder on the sleeve is a single snap, not a zipper pocket and I really hope that I don't accidently lose my season pass during the season. Can't wait to hit the slopes in this amazing jacket!
I love this jacket! I can't wait to use it when the skiing season starts back up again. I'm usually a small/ medium. The jacket fits perfectly and is well-insulated. The color is really cute. I love that the underarms can be unzipped for ease of cooling.
Extremely comfortable and warm. Love all the pockets and vents. Great job against the wind.
I wore the North Face Namak Insulated Jacket all last ski season in Colorado, and it quickly became one of my favorites. The bright colors were a huge plus — super easy for my friends to spot on the mountain. It kept me warm without overheating, which is saying something because I tend to run hot. The armpit vents were a lifesaver on those sunny, active days. It’s also impressively waterproof — I stayed dry even in heavier snow. Most days I only needed a thin thermal underneath, but on colder days I added a lightweight midlayer and stayed perfectly comfortable. I also love how many pockets it has — they’re actually useful and well-placed, which makes organizing small things (like lip balm and a cold quesadilla) way easier. Overall, it’s a great balance of warmth, breathability, and functionality. Highly recommend for anyone who runs warm but still wants reliable insulation and weather protection on the slopes.
Never Received - REI kept canceling my order, but when I contacted them, they said they didn’t have a reason why. Will never attempt to order from them again.
it works ok for the price but runs way too small that i can barely fit a mid layer . i wear xs or xxs usuallly
