Love this

I don't understand the reviews marking this down for being a thin layer. That's what it is. And it's a really good one. One of the runaway strengths of this brand is how lightweight each item is without compromising quality and functionality and this piece is a staple mid layer for me. It's comfortable, warm-but-breathable, and whisper light. The attention to detail is pretty impressive right down to how easy the zippers are to maneuver, how low their footprint is, and how durable this very lightweight fabric is.

Bring back the old Delta!

I have several older Deltas. I love them. Some time ago, I bought the new Delta, thinking it will be similar. Big mistake! It is totally new product. As for the quality, it can not compare to the old Deltas. It is very thin, almost flimsy. The cut is also bad as if intended for men. The only reason why I didn't return it was the colour. I loved the brownish earthy colour. But I will never buy this new Delta again. And I do not recommend it to anyone. I wish, Arcterix brings back the old fabric and the old style of the Deltas.

Hello Jarka, thanks for your honest feedback. We’re sorry the Delta Jacket didn’t meet your expectations, especially after your great experience with the older versions. We understand that the updated design in the materials and fit aren't for everyone. Your input on fabric quality and fit is valuable, and we’ll share it with our design team.

Good, but prefer previous version

I have bought four of these jackets over the years. The fit and weight is perfect for me, and they are well made. I prefer the earlier waffle fabrication to this one, which looks and feels synthetic.

Best fleece

I love the light warmth, breathability, and fit of the current Delta. I have this Delta in 3 colors (black, violet, and the orange/red color). It is great for hiking but also nice enough to wear to work in a casual environment. No pilling due to the facing so mine all look like new despite a lot of use. What I really hope is that Arteryx will make the Delta in black sapphire (navy), midnight frost, or phantasm. I would buy any of these.

LOVE!

I am obsessed with this jacket. I adore how lightweight it is! It’s perfect for a light layer for air conditioned spaces in summer, great for spring and fall, and a perfect layer for winter. Zippered pockets are a must. And it’s nice enough to wear when I need something just slightly more elevated than an outdoorsy look. I’m here to purchase another color…

Perfect jacket for travel

I have the "old" delta, and now I have this one (both in black). I find the new Delta to be incredibly lightweight. I use it for travel and with a shirt underneath, it is very comfortable and warm enough. Plus the design is amazing, and I find that it fits close enough to the body to look sleek but not constricting.

Bit disappointed

Sorry to say I decided to return this jacket mainly because of the fit which was too loose and I should have sized down. I also thought the material seemed thin and I felt it wouldn’t be warm enough for the winter months although obviously I didn’t try it.

Hello Kate, thank you for sharing your experience with the Delta Jacket. We’re sorry to hear it didn’t meet your expectations. The fit and warmth of a piece can make all the difference, and we understand how disappointing it is when it doesn’t feel quite right. The Delta is designed as a lightweight midlayer, ideal for active use or milder conditions, but not everyone’s needs or climate are the same. We appreciate your honest feedback and hope you’ll find a better match in our lineup. If you’d like help exploring warmer or more fitted alternatives, we’re here to assist.

Awful fit and Fabric

I have 6 Delta Fleeces of the old style and female fit n they’re all great, but all waring out. I have tried each time there is a new drop to get another but the fit is awful (male, boxy) and the fabric is awful. Bring back the original Deita!

Hello there, thank you for taking the time to share this feedback with us. We truly appreciate how long the original Delta styles have been part of your system, and we understand the disappointment when an updated fit or fabric no longer reflects what made a piece work so well for you. Our teams continually refine designs to enhance performance and longevity, and insights from long‑time guests like yourself play an important role in guiding future iterations. Your comments on both the fit and material of the current Delta styles have been noted and shared with our design partners for consideration in upcoming seasons. We’re grateful for your loyalty to the Delta line and for helping us evolve our products with clarity and intention.

Reach for it daily

We all know and love the "old" Delta, and I'm seriously surprised at how much I like this jacket and reach for it daily. It's the perfect layer for spring/summer/fall when you just want a bit of warmth without any bulk. It also has pockets (!!) Two hand pockets and a chest pocket with ZIPS which is so essential. My only qualm is that the arms are loose, like a bit of extra fabric dangling. I have big arms so maybe not as obvious, and I sized up to a large from my usual medium due to the noted "fitted-ness" of the jacket. The rest of the jacket fits really nicely and I've gotten comments on it (maybe due to the unique green colour of Olive Moss). Another "weird" feature is the inside of the jacket texture is almost like woven mesh which I thought would feel weird against the skin and it's fine (neither love nor hate). Main zipper feels small and delicate but yet to run into any issues, and keeps the jacket looking sleek. I'd say if you're looking for a classic fleece, go for the Covert or the Kyanite. This is something else entirely, and I like it.
