The Norvan 7, contrary to appearances, is spacious. You can pack: a warm, thick sweatshirt, a raincoat, an extra 500ml isotonic bottle, and plenty of bars. Of course, this depends on the size; the larger the size, the more you can pack. A small size will squeeze everything. For running, the smaller size is obviously better, but for fast trekking, the larger. For me (chest: 90-93 cm), size S is too small, while M is optimal for carrying more gear. For trekking or fast walking, it's worth using elastic bands to prevent the chest strap from becoming stiff.

One of the other reviews says there is no zips, this is untrue as mine has a small zipped compartment on the left side located inside the pocket. really great well made product I can fit my phone, keys, headphones and some other small personal items in the two front pockets with more room to spare, there is also a open space on the back to fit a light running jacket but I haven't tried this feature yet. I picked the small size and I really like how fitted this vest. no rubbing or chafing and the stretchy material used for the vest is pleasant and breathable. the included water bottles are good and feel well made.

I have tested a lot of vests for running and trailrunning, and this is by far the BEST! It fits so snug and nicely, nothing jumps or bounces around. The pockets are exactly where they should be and every item is easily accessible. I’m taking this out on pretty much every single run.

Water bladders may leave an electrolyte stain after initial use, and this stain is permanent. Therefore, it is advisable to carefully consider purchasing a water bladder before making a decision.

Read an online review here about it not being a versatile piece of gear. It’s honestly perfect for the ultralight setup on a run or a mountain bike. I used it for the first time on a 80 mile bike ride where I didn’t want a hydration pack on my back since it’s rather uncomfortable. I didn’t even notice the weight of the vest even with the two bottles filled to the brim. Tons of storage space to hide your belongings such as snacks trash and your layers. I carried 3 gels and two larger carb mixes and it still felt like I could bring more. It fits perfectly with a bike jersey because you still have access with your jersey pockets and it doesn’t obstruct your reach. It’s a great piece of gear honestly.

I’ve used this on various runs and I can hands down say it’s well worth it. It’s big enough to fit your essentials for a day on the trails; while still being, comfortable, easy-to-use, and light. My favourite feature on this pack is how adjustable it is and how easy it is to clip on a pair of poles, lights, and an extra water or two.

I rang head office, because I did not understand the sizes , I took their advice and the product was a bit small, but i think it’s a bit pricey

I've been using the Norvan vest for about a year now and I couldn't be happier with it. It is streamlined and comfortable when running without feeling bouncy or loose. I can comfortably run with both bottles full, snacks, and a small kit without the vest feeling cluttered. There is a small internal zip pocket on one side for some added security that I use for my car keys. The tightening system is super minimalist and functional. The vest stays tightly cinched and comfortable for the duration of my runs. I've also found it to be very comfortable next to skin as well. No issues with it rubbing. Highly recommend this vest!
