Cold pack 3 thermal and Moab Adventure 3 Moc

We purchased these shoes for a 17 day trip thru Japan. We brought other shoes but never wore them. We travelled up to the Lions View point peak, hiked the hot springs of Obamachounzen & Monkey mountain in the pouring rain. We traveled to shrines and temples (easy off for entering), to Mount Fuji & the bamboo forest. Thru all kinds of weather our shoes took us. I may not have needed the thermal but love the way they hug your feet so no blisters from rubbing for me. Great shoes. Kept our feet dry in the pouring rain

Literally a great workhorse shoe

I am actually a real “Moabite” that not only wears Merrell’s products but live the outdoor lifestyle as well. My husband and I have been wearing this particular shoe for as long as it’s been out. We use it for not only our outdoor chores (horses) but walking our dogs in the Moab rocks and dirt. We wear them until they literally fall apart! I have merrell running shoes (the Moab of course), as well as slip ons. I think we should be testers! I always shop around for the best deals but his size (7) isn’t always easy to find. I hope you never quit making this shoe, I don’t know how we’d find a replacement.

Absolutely UGLY

The ugliest shoe on the planet. Merrell's uses to be functional and cute for that type of shoe. The shoe looks like it was made out of the ugliest plastic available. No it does not look like leather. The fit (sie 8 1/2 womens) did work well for me so the one star is for the fit. Second, the delivery was made during a snowstorm. The shoes (ugly to begin with) arrived with wet cardboard stuck all over to them, wet cardboard so stuck to the show I most likely didn't get it all off before returning them. Understandably, REI cannot control the weather, but they do have control over their delivery schedules. Returning. Can't wait to get them out of the house. And switching to another brand, away from Merrell.

Longest Lasting Shoe Ever Worn

I have a seriously much older version of these I almost can’t believe I am still wearing. Over 15 years old & have worn the crap out of these and yet nothing torn apart except inside the shoe the thermal cushion properties have been long gone for many years now. Ha! That only expanded my use of these shoes more in summer seasons. After 10 years old I began using them for yard chores such as mowing my half acre yard behind a self-prop…years after that they are still on my feet. This past Fall were my reliable camp shoes in the BWCAW. I associate the Merrell brand as at the top of the game for outdoor enthusiasts & adventurists. The aggressive-looking vibram footbed gives stability, versatility & longevity and is reason I am asked about this shoe what it is & where did I get it. Cost of these is steep but when they can take plenty of wear and a some abuse & still last 10+, 15+ years they are more than worth it! 7 out of 5 stars for how I can’t even kill my old pair. Ready for buying a fresh pair this Winter.

Cold pack 3 thermo moc

These shoes did not live long. Only the left side opened up at the sides, like the glue didn’t last.

Disappointed

I love Merrell shoes and I thought this was going to be my perfect work shoe; comfortable, rugged, and durable while still being attractive. And they were perfect for a year. Then the waterproof trim at the toe started pulling out from the stitching. A few months later the side trim material also pulled out from the stitching on both shoes and now they are worthless. I'm so disappointed.

Bring back the gatored GTX Mocs!

I have an old pair of these shoes that I have hung onto and have hoped to replace. This shoe used to have a small gator that snugged around your foot, keeping snow out. They stopped adding that and now if one is walking in snow it will get in your shoes. My husband quite buying the Merrell Mocs also as he got tired of the snow getting in. I have babied my very old pair checking each year to see if Merrell would wise up and return that design feature. Currently I am mostly wearing the lace up boot by Merrell but I love the slip on moc. I just hate getting snow in my shoes. Bring back the moc with the gator! There is also no vehicle on the Merrell website for making suggestions or even inquiries without calling them.

waterproof, comfy foot bed, arch support lower tha

I have had the cozy jungle mocs and I absolutely love them. They are so warm and the arch support is great, but they are not waterproof, which is why I decided to try the thermo moc waterproofs. I live in the Pacific Northwest. These shoes are definitely waterproof and have a comfy and squishy footbed. They held up great in the recent ice and snow storm we were hit with in terms of actually keeping the moisture out and having great grip. The arch support is not as high as with my other jungle mocs, and I was bummed about that. I also think that these ones are not as warm as the cozy mocs.

Great for walking

These boots are very comfortable and warm. Some sizes are available in wide which makes them even more comfortable. Having a very high instep makes it hard to find slip ons. These worked.

Warm & Stylish

I am obsessed with these shoes, not only can they weather Vermont in the dead of winter (waterproof & warm), I also receive so many compliments when I wear the Cinnamon color in NYC. Merrell, I beg you, please stop discontinuing all of your best styles so quickly. BRING THESE BACK.
