Lasted 6 days and warranty is a joke! Hard pass.

The Rush jacket may look nice, but it doesn’t stand up to even the most gentle use. Mine lasted a single season (which sadly included a whopping 6 days of easy skiing) before the outer fabric began wearing away. No trees; no wipeouts; no encounters with crampons, ice axes, or anything sharp. Six days of easy groomers with the family and there’s already a hole that Arc’teryx won’t repair or otherwise address. When I reached out to the company for warranty repair or replacement, they basically told me to pound sand and suggested I try repairing it with tape. No joke. I’ve gone back and forth with customer service, but they insist this is “wear and tear” and not covered. Quite a contrast to the nearly indestructible gear and top-notch service I’ve gotten from most of the other major manufacturers REI stocks, all of whom have gone above and beyond to repair or replace damaged gear, even when they had zero obligation to do so. I **strongly** suggest staying away from this one (and any other Arc’teryx Gore-Tex shells). They look great, but for $700 there are so many better options from companies that will stand by their products. Learned my lesson the hard way this time.

I LOVE all except one minor thing

I’m 6’-1”, 215 pounds and an XL fits great for layering because I run cold. I LOVE Arc’teryx products and have several items, including tops, pants, vests, insulated and shell jackets, and gloves. PROS: *The fit is stylish, has ample inner and outer pockets for alpine skiing. Sleeves are a bit long but I like that. *Surprisingly warm for a thin material. CONS: This is minor, but the cuffs are not big enough to fit over my mitts, so I Velcro them tight and tuck them into my mitts. *This is also minor, but the color choice is lacking.
