My daughter says she likes, not loves, these sneakers. She says when you put them on you have to pull the tongue up "a lot." I have a feeling this may change over time as the shoe molds to her foot. The black and red colors are good for kids sneakers (we recently made the mistake of getting pastel colored sneakers which now look constantly dirty) and the back of the sneakers seem to have an unintentional red heart shape to them. My daughter says they're comfortable, but not the most comfortable sneaker she's ever had. She's also concerned about the sneaker being fabric as she thinks, as a second grader, that grassy areas will be wet in the morning and then her feet will get wet since the tops are all fabric. More than likely these will be her PE sneakers that she keeps at school, as they don't have the flashy or fun colors of other sneakers that are more appealing to a second grader on a daily basis.

These are for my daughter and she says they are nice and light and fit well. She had been wearing them for running around scootering and shenanigans. The laces are a bit long and did get caught in the scooter but if you lace them all the way up to the last hole then that helps. If you have a narrow foot then the front of these will probably wrinkle a bit and there is a couple little design things I find a bit odd- a felt flap on the back that flips up and a sort of unfinished part on the front that shows the foam lining. This review is by my 11 year old son... I really like how soft and comfortable these shoes are and the laces are just the right length. The shoes were a little stiff on my first run, but they broke in very fast. I have run about 20 miles in these so far and I really like them. The longest run I did in these was 5 miles, and they felt good the whole time. I like that the whole sole is rubber, so it won't wear down as fast. These are comfortable to wear just hanging out, but also very comfortable to run in.

My son tried these out for the day, beginning with a walk through a flat wooded area. He felt sturdy and secure but didn’t feel the contours of rocks or sticks like normal. At first he missed feeling the ground but after about 2 hours he said his shoes felt like soft hugs. He continued to wear them throughout the day, ending with a community block party. He played soccer and loved how comfortable they continued to feel even on the first day. He doesn’t recommend playing competitive soccer in these shoes as they’re not designed for that, but for running and walking and playing all day on a cloud, this is the right shoe.

My 10 year old daughter uses the shoes daily for PE in middle school. Even in black she thought they looked pretty cool. They appear to size a bit smaller so be advised. They fit too tight with a larger, thick cotton = baseball / soccer type sock but when she used a regular sized cotton sock such as an ankle sock or tube sock she they fit really nicely. They provide good support she said as she is a student athlete playing on soccer and softball teams. She did not have any negative thing to say about the shoes, which is why I gave it five stars. She typically will be quick to point out negatives.

I’m on my feet constantly in work, the joys of working in education! I really needed a pair of trainers that were comfortable but also trendy as the young people say. So glad I bought them and they fit perfectly
