like wearing a really cute blanket
I tried this on in a store and was immediately hooked, as the inside is the softest fleece I’ve felt. It’s seriously like wearing a blanket, except way nicer looking. It fits well for people with curvier hips, and is roomy without being huge. I usually size up to an XL for sweaters and jackets to have extra space, but the large in this fits loosely while still being flattering. It’s also just really well designed. If you have the hood down and cinch up the neck, it becomes a neck gaiter. And the hood itself fits well and is very functional. I’m 5’4” and it comes to a few inches above my knees, which allows me to wear my lighter weight pants in cooler weather.
Love It!
It is semi fitted and I put it over a very thick base layer. I wear it to work, with boots. It’s comfortable, stylish, and offers some warmth. I did size up to a M because of wearing a thick base layer and liking my dresses a little loose.
Electric Blue Rocks!
Thrilled this went on sale. Sizing is accurate. I was on the cusp of S/M and went with M. Fits great with room for biking. Looks good with leggings and will do fine with sandals on cool beach nights. Wash in cold water and hang to dry. Love the hood. For reference I'm curvy, athletic, 5ft-6.5 inches, hits about 4 inches above knee, around 140 pounds, and 67. I feel so cool in this dress, especially with big white sunglasses!
Cute and cozy
Super comfortable. Just warm enough to not get overheated while wearing it at the office and makes a great layer for cold hikes.
stitching unraveling after two weeks
Overall this is a lovely cozy dress, like wearing a cute blanket. Unfortunately, two weeks after purchasing it, some stitching started to unravel, which is surprising since Mountain Hardwear clothing is usually such good quality. I only wore it casually around town, so it's not like it caught on a branch or rock while hiking. Going to return it and give another one a try because I love it so much, but disappointed in the quality so far.
A campers dream
So much better than the Melly. Looser fit, and so so cozy. I wore this all weekend camping and with proper layering in 45-55 temps it performed well. It falls mid thigh on me. Only complaint is the pocket is a little lower than I’d like, but it’s really not a problem. I’m 5’10, purchased XL for room to layer.
Excellent for an outing
I like this kit a lot. I ordered a large, but could have easily gotten away with a medium. I wore this with a base layer shirt, and tights, while I participated in a local turkey trot. Just walking for my cardio. It would have been more comfortable if the day/event, was not so windy, but my clothing choice was on me. Easily hikeable clothing. Good down to 45 degrees(?).
As good as they say
This is a great, toasty, cute dress. I work at remote camps but have an inside job so I like to be warm and comfortable but still look outdoorsy. I AM outdoorsy...but I have a job where I can look cute too! This dress does both, not too tight but still fitted. Excited to pair it with leggings and boots. The purple is a great color.
LOVE
I love this piece. It’s warm, soft and fits perfectly to my liking. I’m 5’8 and 155lbs. I went with a medium.
I'd wear this 24/7/365 if I could :)
I freaking love the Summit Grid Dress and now have it in two colors. It is so soft and cozy and doesn't irritate my sensitive, quirky skin. EVER. There are some fabrics that are heaven, to me, one day and prickly fire the next -- but, these dresses are always a safe bet. I get so many compliments on them and, if I didn't have other financial responsibilities, I'd own one in every single color :) Also - the hood is a great size, a warm hat and all my curly hair fit in there now problem. The pocket is a marvelous, useful, size that doesn't look unflattering.
