Beautiful but it does pill right away
I love the weight and shape of this sweater and it looks great! I have it in two colors. The only problem is that it pilled immediately after just a few hours of wearing it.
Flattering and comfortable
I love this sweater, just purchased a second one. I like the somewhat tailored fit and its softness. It has a small % of merino; I'm very subject to itching with merino but it doesn't bother me with this sweater. I am 5'5 120 pounds and an XS fit me perfectly.
My Favorite Sweaters
My FAVORITE sweater since buying my first Solace Sweaters in '23 and '24,and would buy more if more colors were available. Maybe a blue ? I've seen some concerns about piling, and no laundry instructions, but I wash in the washer (med. heat), dry in the dryer (normal heat) and all 5 come out beautifully, no piling!!! I first bought 1, fell in love with it and went back and got 2 more. That was in '23! Bought 2 more in the fall of '24, and I will buy more if they make more beautiful colors! I'm waiting, Kuhl and REI!!!!!
Comfortable, versatile sweater
Comfortable, breathable sweater that can go from the trail into town. Held its shape and didn't wrinkle after being crammed in a suitcase :) I haven't had to hand wash it yet, so can't speak to that ease. I typically wear a small to a medium, and the small worked great for me.
SO COMFORTABLE!
I bought this sweater yesterday at my local REI and immediately started looking for more colors online. Incredibly comfortable blend of fabrics - KUHL hit it on the nose with this one. If they had six colors I would buy them all. The plum is great, the pine and white - meh. Also, stretchy sleeves - got labwork done this AM and had no problem pulling the sleeve up to my upper arm. Such a nice change from sweaters that constrict your wrist and don’t allow you to adjust sleeve length easily.

Great sweater! I have it in white. I wore it several times while in London both for evening out and daytime wear. Fit was great. Very comfortable.
Great sweater!
I bought this sweater in sea pine and it quickly became my go-to. Love the material and it’s super cozy. Also love that it’s a little longer in the back. It washed beautifully (turned inside out on the delicate cycle with delicate wash liquid detergent). So glad I also bought the dark gray!
Want to love this sweater
I love this sweater so much but there is already a large hole in the arm where the left sleeve meets the torso.
Great sweater, but...
I have not yet worn the sweater but love everything about it except: reports that it pills very quickly, seeing that it is hand wash (there was no indication of this in the description, and no tags with laundry instructions, so I had to search questions in the listing after I'd received the delivery), and even though there is a very small amount of merino wool, it feels itchy around my neck. I am undecided about keeping the two I purchased (snow/oatmeal and pine green). I do love the fit and comfort, lightweight and flows very nicely, the weaver "pattern", the cowl neck and raglan sleeves, the colors. But I am concerned about the deficiencies I am reading about in the reviews. But for the 3 things I've mentioned I would have definitely given it 5 stars. I may decide to return them.
comfy
I bought this in my regular size in aubergine. The color is fabulous, dark and saturated with color, goes well with green. It’s roomy without being sloppy. I’d wear it casually, for cycling but not for hiking (might be too warm and does not layer well because of its bulk.
