Best 1st !

There’s no question about the quality of chroma Pop lenses. Ski-mountaineers were waiting these for ages, and did come with a solid frame and side shields. The strap is a nice feathered when windy and u don’t want to deal with a thin retainer. I can wait to see an XL version with slightly more coverage.

Swiss Army knife of Sunnies

By far my favourite and most versatile pair of sunnies. From ice climbing to the summits of Volcanoes in Hawaii, these things are with me. Love them for mtn biking too and really appreciate how modular and adaptive they are.

Missed the mark

I had high expectations for this product and feel it really missed the mark. Primary, the lenses get no where near dark enough for the kind of environments (glacier/snow/alpine) I think this style of sunglass was designed for and should excel at. The glasses themselves feel “cheap” compared to all other Smith models I’ve owned. The side covers are just ok, not being attached to the arms they move while wearing. They don’t fit well with a ski helmet, but better with a climbing helmet and beanie, and the keeper strap provided is unusable with either. My overall impression is that these are more fashion than function. Three stars is generous.

James Bond shades for Fly Fishing

Ive loved these glasses thus far. I use them primarily for fly fishing, but have used them for basically every out door activity. In fly fishing being able to block glare is super important. The polarized lenses on these things do a great job of blocking glare. I love the plastic shaders on the side as they help cut the glare and amplify the ability of the lens. I also like the built in chums that help them stay on your face, I especially like that for playing pond hockey. Plus the style makes me feel like James Bond. I love these shades. 10/10 for sure.

Perfect sunnies for spring skiing

Perfect sunnies for spring skiing and mountaineering. I've had problems with glacier goggles fogging up on the uphill- but these haven't had that issue. Well ventilated, lots of coverage, stay on my face well while skiing. The transition lenses work as expected- ranging from almost translucent in low light to max darkness on bright snowy days.

These may be the best

These may be the best photo chromatic lenses I’ve ever owned. Remarkable clarity and contrast! Excellent coverage especially with the side visors. Wore them for the first time on a high alpine hike on the Colorado trail and they worked great. Could not be happier that I waited for them to be in stock.

Best sunglasses ever owned

I got these glasses mostly for mountaineering. They’re so stylish that I wear them pretty much anywhere unlike other glacier glasses. They’re also no large shades that you don’t wanna wear unless you’re doing some sport activity. These glasses are just the right size and shape that make them quite stylish even day to day. The crispness of the glasses are phenomenal. I’ve never owned a pair that is as sharp. The best part is the auto dimming feature. Honestly, life changing. Can wear these glasses in varying conditions from shaded areas to bright sunlight and you won’t have to take them off or switch them up. Don’t waste your money on other shades. This is a pretty versatile pair that is of absolute quality.
