great for cool weather or off trail traverse

I have 2 older style fit trousers (I still love them and they are holding up well) but I love the new improvements. The new style actually flatters ones bum. The older styles didn't really do much for the rear view, but Fjall is correct (improved fit ) is an understatement. Great quality, and now an even better fit. The fit guide is spot on. Don't skip the measurement part (and don;t be afraid when you are a bigger size than you are used to, the fit guide is accurate). This is my 4th pair of Fjallraven trousers (all different styles) and I love them. This is the thickest pair I have and great for fall/winter or off trail to prevent scratches.

Perfect

I have had these pants for nearly 7 years, and these are absolutely the best field pants I have ever owned. I work in polar climates and have worn these in arctic Alaska and Antarctica. The Arctic summer is characterized by wet cold, and after applying a couple coats of Greenland wax, these easily shed sleet and mud and kept my knees dry when kneeling on tundra. In Antarctica, they stop the strong, icy wind from penetrating. I am a US size 6, and tried these in EU size 38 and 40. The 38's fit perfect, but I kept the 40's because I wanted to layer these over fleece pants. These pants do the same job that any water-resistant outer layer would do, but they are comfortable, far less bulky, and look way better.

Bring Back the old fit!

I absolutely love these pants. I am a forest technologist and it is so hard to find good durable pants for women that stand up to consistent bush work. My pants have lasted several years of rigorous use however they are starting wear out and pull apart at the seams. Things cannot last forever but am very impressed on the longevity of these pants. I would have given 5 stars however they have changed the fit of these pants. I ordered the same size to replace my old pants however the "improved fit" make them much to small and the size up are much too big. Very sad that there is such huge variation between the sizes now. I hear I am not the only the one that think the sizing is off now.... unfortunately I am forced to look elsewhere for durable hiking pants.

Most comfortable, practical and rugged pair of outdoor

Super hardwearing, well placed pockets that feel intuitive and also well thought out features like more belt loops so there’s no hanging leftover slack from your belt (My biggest pet peeve). The material feels very rugged yet so soft, I actually look forward to wearing it. My favourite parts about these trousers are the adjustable snaps at the bottom of the leg and the multi-tool pocket that is also an axe holder. These tools can be heavy but the way it’s placed distributes the weight well and doesn’t contact your

Perfect for Hunting

I recently went on a upland game hunting trip and wore these pants for 3 days straight. They held up in brambles, tule reeds, branches, etc without a scratch. We hiked in freezing temps and just with thermals under, they kept me super warm. They are all in all, really comfortable and incredibly durable (which is really hard to find in women's clothing). I had to reorder a size up because they were too tight on the thighs. Really great pant, would definitely recommend to any active hiker or hunter.

Superb fabric and fit

I purchased a size, 32-inch waist and a 39-inch-long. It fits me! I am 4’11” and I weigh 104 lb. The length is a bit long on me, but that can’t be helped. I cinch the leg opening so that they stay on my ankles. I have a ventilated pro I purchased in 2018. I wore that exclusively when I went hiking and camping, as well as urban prowling. But I wasn’t too happy with stretchy fabrics. Though making movements of legs and hips easier, they stretched out, pilled, and became raggedy looking. I wanted pants with all g-1000 that would last forever. The blue color is gorgeous and I love the high waist. The pockets, of course, are not only strategically placed and therefore highly functional but also somehow fashionable! I just wish that fjallraven considers offering petite sizings for all their clothes, especially pants.

Great pants for the price!

I'm a firearms instructor in Oregon so I needed pants that can provide comfort while being tough in the northwestern environment and the Vidda pros are one of my go to now both on and off the range. It's more practical wearing these during my classes because I can go from the range to going out to dinner with friends while still looking sharp! For the price of the Vidda pros you won't find a better pant on the market! A solid 5 star from me! ~Jayson B.

Great pants for the outdoors

I have been wanting a pair of these Vidda Pro trousers for a while and finally bought a pair. I was specifically looking for pants that would be durable for long hiking and backpacking trips and have been impressed with these so far. I specifically like the pocket arrangement and the reinforcement on the seat and knees. My only complaint would be that there was no option to get a shorter length. My are a bit too long but otherwise fit well.

Smallest size is still a bit roomy

I ordered these because I was looking for a pair of autumn-winter weight, significantly water resistant hiking trousers that would fit my 5 foot 3 inch 100 lb frame. These are very roomy but the waist band is small enough to keep them from falling down. So, I decided to keep them. They are warm and they kept me completely dry through hours of hiking in light-to-moderate rain. Also, they don't make an annoying whispering noise as you walk.
