Great idea with the steel insert. I will use this exclusively with top rope set-ups. Not a big deal, but it will not fit my grigri and in general is a smallish carabiner. Also be aware the screw is very easy to spin and if not tightened hard will loosen. Remember, screw down so you don't screw up.
