Run towards the sun if you’d like…
I got these at the perfect time for summer in Southeastern US- HUMID AND HOT. I work in front of a screen, and EYE PROTECTION is important to me when RUNNING because I love the hot SUN in for my evening workouts. The sunglasses are SO LIGHT, I could wear all day, but sadly, my hubby thinks they’re not the sexiest look on me; I disagree- I like the look for myself, and I LOVE THE FIT. Easy on the nose, and gentle on the ears. The sweat didn’t accumulate awkwardly, and even though they DID NOT FEEL TIGHT around my head (small to medium head based on the hats I wear), I NEVER FELT THEM BOUNCE off in multiple 2-5 mile runs or during the spontaneous hikes and moments playing with my dogs when I’ve kept the sunglasses on after a workout. When I’m done with time outside, I wipe dry them, and meticulously place them on a safe place because I like them without scratches. I also have rinsed them in soapy water because of sweat- but that’s just me, I like them nice.
SoCal Summer Shades
Perfect sun glasses for the heat and sun, optical clarity is great and they absolutely stay put with heavy sweat and movement. Used these sunglasses pretty extensively in the SoCal summer heat and MTB trails. Ventilation is great, they stay off the face just enough to avoid being soaked in sweat. They stay in place even with sunblock and never slid down my nose. Optical clarity is great, filters the glare well, but still lets me see through the shade. One thing to note is that is there no significant pink or rosy tint while wearing them which I appreciated. Overall really enjoyed these sunglasses, they stay put, provide great eye coverage, and have the perfect level of tint.
Unobstructed 80's road bike sunglasses
These glasses are not a great fit for my face shape for daily sunglass use, but for biking I loved the range of unobstructed view. I rode with them three times on the north county trail in NY on 2 sunny occasions and one partial cloudy day. For the sunny days the UV protection and brightness seemed to be controlled well. On the cloudy day the glasses were a bit too dark for the wooded parts of the trail. Overall they are light, super 80's retro looking sporting glasses.
Fantastic Sunglasses for Summer Running
After wearing these for a few weeks (including several sunny training runs and a 24-hour race that included lots of hot, sunny miles), I can say that I really love these sunglasses. Much better than anything I've worn previously. They were really light weight, and the fit was snug and comfortable. I didn't have any issues with them slipping or falling off while running. I also liked that they covered my full field of vision, which was awkward at first but then I came to really enjoy this design feature. Also, when I sweat a lot, the sweat rolled off the face of the sunglasses instead of blurring or obstructing my vision (and it sweat did bead up, I could literally just blow it off). Finally, while at first I wasn't sure about the style of these sunglasses (a bit big for me), they actually looked great and I got some compliments on my race. Overall, I am a fan! This design worked really well for me.
Great for Long Distance
I'm 100+ miles with these in my marathon training and they are amazing. I get pressure headaches pretty easily and I was worried sunglasses + a headband or hat would leave me aching. These stay put on my face, don't pinch, don't leave a pressure mark on the bridge of my nose, and transition great from dawn to full sun.
Truly love these
I am a huge fan of these. I can whip my head back and forth, go for a run, and play volleyball without these budging. They're super light, cover around my eyes completely, and feel incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend!
Full Coverage
These sunglasses are very performance oriented, and are built for sports and activity. They offer full coverage of your entire optical range. They are well constructed and seem sturdy and durable. They are lightweight and don't press too hard on my nose or ears, so they've very comfortable. The nose rest is soft rubber and stays put on my nose. The ear rests are also that same soft rubber, but fits to my head perfectly and doesn't press too hard. I have been using these when I mow the lawn, weed whack, swimming, etc. and I love them so far.
Nice looking and Functional
Used it while Hiking, Driving , running and walking. The fit was snug but not tight. At any point during run and hike did not feel like it would fall off. It covered full vison. It was lightweight. My spouse also loved using them while hiking and running.
Great sunglasses for price, may not fit all faces
Overall, I love these sunglasses! For the price point, they’re very sturdy and well built and came with a free fabric case that can also be used to wipe them. It would’ve been nice to get a hardshell case but at this price point I can’t complain. My partner got the black/blue tinted glasses which (oddly) has a slightly warmer tint than the pink tints. The biggest complaint is how easily greasy the lenses get, since there is so little frame, the glasses get covered with grease. The glasses fit my face well but sit on my partner’s face in a way that his brows slightly touch the top, and the inside of the lenses get greasy as well. Other than that, great sunglasses.
Quality eye/sun protection with a durable build
These sunglasses are incredibly light, with very clear lenses, and impressive wind redirection. I was honestly wary of of getting them purely based on their oldschool aesthetic, but after wearing them while biking to work, I'm sold. They are really comfortable on my ears, blocked much more wind than my previous pair and the oily-looking red/gray finish is actually pretty cool.
