I wear a size 15 shoe and thank god Shimano has this! Feet like a glove and actually has some room in the toe box! So far is comfortable, breathable and looks good! I also have a wide foot and no issues, the BOA system is also a plus. Would buy again.
Shoes ‘fit’ overall but the toebox was designed for Keebler’s elves (way too narrow’). Returning asap
Perfect gravel shoe. Very comfy on 5h rides, handles tarmac, single track, mud, etc. very well. Engagement with pedal is reliable and easy despite cleats getting super dirty.
I bought these to replace a pair of Shimano XC1 MTB shoes that I had used for gravel riding. It is a challenge for me to get a decent fit because my toes are wide and my heels are narrow. The Shimano shoes do a pretty good job of having a toe box that is wide enough without the heel being too loose. The RX6 shoes fit pretty well like my old XC1 shoes. I had not had shoes with BOA dials before, but the BOAs work pretty well. I will have to wait and see how durable the dials are. The only negative thing I have to say is that the lugs on the soles of the RX6 shoes seems harder and less grippy than the lugs on my old XC1 shoes. If I was doing more difficult gravel riding where I had to get off and frequently hoof it, I think I would opt for a cross-country MTB shoe. I have been pleased with the durability of the Shimano shoes I have had (these are the third pair).
Great gravel shoes. Snug and comfortable for long rides. Look great on and feel like a proper bit of kit for any ride.
This was a one-off on the sale rack in the store, but turned out to be the perfect shoe! Great size and fit, easy on and off and the sole is super stiff. I was looking for a 2-bolt shoe that performs like a road shoe, and this is it! Also like that it has two sets of holes, I use a more mid-foot position.
I use these for road cycling, and would recommend these. They are stiff, but I can walk around in them because of the raised tread. However, the cleats still hit the pavement and after 30 miles, my black metal cleats are now showing the bare metal in the tip of the cleat. Still better than SPD-SL shoes.
These shoes have held up very well on 1500 road miles over the past 6 months. They are light and just stiff enough. I don't use them for trail riding. They couple very well with Shimano ES600 spd pedals.
These shoes are great - hoping the tightening system holds up, but at present it provides good closure. They are very comfortable. I would have liked half sizes as the full EU size I obtained is just slightly large but they could easily accommodate a shoe insert. Overall I am really pleased with them.
REI sent the wrong size shoes. I returned them at the Tigard store. Unfortunately, they did not have my size and the shoes had to be shipped. It did not show up, as promised, before my trip.
