Falsely advertised.

This thing is absolutely not compatible with the Big River bag. I don’t know why they do the janky little piece of plastic on the end which doesn’t actually latch onto anything; the loops on the Big River bag are too big to accommodate this and it just falls out, and the lightweight bag is so thin I don’t trust it and returned it. Shame, because I had an REI Gift card and have been trying for a year to find something there that I need, but looks like I have to buy a product I found on Amazon which is thicker material AND comes with its own strap.

Worth it

I wish there were instructions on attaching the loop end with your dry bag. It takes a little tinkering if you don't know what you're doing, but it works great once attached. STS, please include an instructional video!

Great accessory for new bag line

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When Sea to Summit released their new product line and came out with this I knew I had to get one. This was the perfect accessory for my Evac Dray Bag. It is great to be able to empty out a bag to use for a day hike with this sling. Before I had to bring an extra bag but not anymore. Love the way it attaches and feels across my chest.

The Very Best Dry Bags

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sea to Summit Dry Bags that arrived with my new sleeping bag have become my go to bags for packing my backpack. They keep everything dry but also pack down very well. The quality is far above that of my other dry bags. I expect that I will be buying many more of these bags for the other people in my backpacking party.

Hate to Love It

I felt silly buying this accessory for my dry bag thinking it seemed gimmicky, but hey, I used it frequently in order to turn my 35L Big River dry bag into a convenient shoulder bag on a regular basis during an extended backcountry canoe trip. Easy to access inside the dry bag with this attached, solid.

it's a strap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bottom of the bag should just have a simple replaceable plastic loop, just like the top. the only reason that the bottom attaches like it does is so you have to buy this proprietary strap. Everyone has a zillion of these straps laying around from cheap duffles that should work just as well.

Ideal Sling strap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Sea to Summit for making a detachable sling strap. This is exactly what we needed. I bought a few of them and plan to purchase more. I use them on dry bags to slip in our backpacks, etc when we are caught in the rain. Works wonderful. Giving it definitely 5 stars. Thank you again!

Great travel bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We took the bag to Galapagos and it did everything we needed to do. It kept the clothes dry and was light to pack. We bought the sling which is a must. I am concerned the connection (non-snap end$ will not last as it’s quite flimsy. Other than that, highly recommend

Set of dry bags

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 1st comment is, I was astounded with what a nice, high quality "surprise gift" was sent, I was not expecting that. That said, I enjoy different water sports, and these will be an efficient way to keep my gear dry. Thanks so much for such an awesome gift!
