The Spirit goes to 11

I don't know how a sport specific quickdraw can get any better. Don't take my word for it, try one for yourself! Brilliant action, superb snap, ergonomics are flawless, the gate is a work of art. Dogbone has the best shape for pulling through baffling cruxes. If clipping bolts is your thing, you can't go wrong with the Spirit. Petzl turned the Spirit up to 11 with the newest generation.

The perfect quick draw

You know what they say, "once you go spirit quick draw you can't go back!" I first used these when our lead guide at Pisgah Climbing School had some, and they are the best carabineers to clip. They are smooth, light, and just feel right. I would highly recommend these to new or experienced leaders. Just know, that your climbing partners will always want to climb on your draws forever after!

Perfect for a unique purpose!

Well, since you asked, I went to REI to look for something to replace my broken accordion back strap, and found this. It was the prefect fix! Thanks so much!

As good as it gets

The Cadillac of climbing quick draws. The gates are good for at least 100,000 open/closes, and I don't know how much more you want out of a quickdraw. However if you are looking for more reasons to buy it, you can consider the flush metal gate on the bottom carabiner, making clipping the rope effortless. Combine these with the sleek and elegant finish, and I don't think you can have a better draw in your quiver.

Still the best Quickdraw

Newly revamped for style and more color options, this is still the best quickdraw for projecting hard sport climbs. The biners clip like a dream and it's hard to beat that feeling of clipping one after passing a crux. The Spirits have always inspired confidence, are easy to clean, and also great to grab in a tough spot.

Perfect for sport climbing

I have had all versions of the Spirit Quickdraws over the years and they keep getting more refined. I really like the update to the gates on these, they clip even smoother now. I also like the new string rubber keeper, the rope end stays put and protects the sling from abrasion. The spirit will last a really long time and always give you an easy clip. Once you try them it’s hard to go back to anything else for sport climbing.

Nice quick draws

The Petzl Express Quickdraws are my go-to for both sport and trad climbing. They’re durable, with a solid, grippy dogbone and smooth, snag-free Keylock carabiners that make clipping easy. The integrated STRING keeps the bottom carabiner in place, and the weight is minimal without sacrificing strength. Overall, they perform great on any climb and are perfect for climbers at any level. Highly recommend!

Favorite QuickDraw.

The gussets make a difference. Definitely lighter than without them. I feel like Petzl always has a higher quality in their products.
