Sturdy, useful, large capacity cup
Received free product
This review will not focus on what this product is not. It's not lightweight or compact but I think you realize that. For what it is it does that well. It is sturdy. I feel like this thing could stop a tank shell. If you put a full tray of ice in it and fill it with water that water will be ice cold a full day later. The straw is high quality too. What I like most about it is the diameter. It is wider than most straws so you can get a mouthful of cold water with a quick sip rather than needing to spend five seconds sipping. Small thing but I liked it. Why did I knock a star off? Like I said it's sturdy. Heavy duty is another word. That means when it's full of water it's HEAVY. I'm a big guy and it fits me fine but smaller people might find it a bit much to carry around even with the very nice handle it come equipped with. It's also tall. If you want to put it on a shelf it better be the top one because it doesn't fit on many lower shelves. With straw, it's a full foot tall. It performs exactly as advertised however. It keeps drink real cold and hold a lot of water. If you want something you can have with you all day and only have to fill once, this is perfect. Just don't say you weren't warned on the other stuff.

Scratched gifts
Unfortunately, the five thermal sippers I purchased were scratched when I received them. They had been packed in a large box and not individually wrapped which caused them to rub against one another. I can’t gift them to my family for Christmas due to the scratchers and abrasions. I returned them to the store and was issued a refund promptly.

such a cutie

finally became a stanley girl! but not the consumerism one tho lol. overall from the quality is a big yes ❤️ it so cute when you carry your stanley like omggg, the color are cute tho. but buying rose quartz color for a perfectionist person makes you feel drained. it will always be dirty and has random scratches while i doesnt even bump it 😭😭 yes its not waterproof, because it was called stanley cup, duh? not stanley bottle. well im satisfied to be one of those cool stanley clean girls. love my rose quartz so badlyyyy. I ALWAYS TOLD MY FRIENDS TO GET AT LEAST 1 STANLEY 🥰 and i dont expect that the lid can develop a spiderweb beret??

Still in great condition despite getting run over by a car!

I left work one night leaving my Stanley on the lockbox to my pickup truck. Drove 20 minutes home only to realize I left my Stanley on the bed of my truck. I immediately drove back to find it on the side of the road ran over by something. Took it home with me to see even though it had been caved in on 2 sides it still functioned! No damage inside the container the handle still flips back on forth and my tea was still hot inside! Incredible!

Handle came off

My daughter got this color bc she loves this color blue…and sure enough the bottom part of the handle broke, I looked to see if the screws can be tightened but there is nothing on the handle/cup side to hold on to… while it is great conserving the ice and cold water I send her to school everyday, but carrying a 40oz without a handle is impossible.

Disappointed at the quality.

Worked fine at first. After the third wash (in the sink with warm water and a sponge), the pink strip on the lid shrank. The one that turns to let you use the straw, sip, or close the lid. It became smaller than the white part of the lid and there’s a considerable gap between them. Nothing I do will get it to fit normally again. My mom has had the same tumbler for over two years. Mine lasted a month before this happened. I’m very disappointed. Here’s a link to the images, in case the ones I added don’t show: https://imgur.com/a/HzdasVi No matter which way I turn it, the gap stays.

Leaky Lid

Received a Lilac color - very pretty, 40oz, for Christmas 2024, used the first time taking to work and it leaked all over. As I walked with it upright in my bag it splashed out the lid - what is that about? I asked my daughter who has a smaller one from last year if hers leaked and she said no. I took the lid off twisted it closed, flipped it over and filled with water and it just poured out the opening that was supposed to be sealed. Not happy.

Stanley your Quality Control Needs an Overhaul!

The Quality Control with Stanley has been going steadily downhill. I have just over 100 cups and lately I have not been receiving any flawless ups! They all have either manufacturing damage that as not caught and / or manufacturing defects! The glow cups are particularly bad!

New favorite cup

Great insulated cup. I have about 5 Yeti’s of various sizes. The handle on the Stanley is a way more comfy grip especially for how large the capacity is on this cup. When it’s full with ice it gets heavy and the handle on this cup is easier to grip. I like the lid options too. The part that slides for the straw or to drink directly out of doesn’t leak and is more solid than the Yeti’s magnetic closure. It big but still fits in my cup holder. Ice stays for well over 24 hours. I haven’t used it for a hot liquid yet.
