Features

  • Adapter aligns your phone camera lens with your binocular lens for taking photos and recording videos
  • Reinforced cast-aluminum frame keeps a tight grip on the binoculars, while the spring-loaded phone clamp, also made of aluminum, holds your smartphone tight
  • Get the perfect alignment locked in place—the Photo Rig allows for the perfect alignment to stay in position for shooting photos and videos through binoculars
  • Once locked in place, the binoculars are attached to your device so you can take photos and record videos using only one hand, leaving the other to control the media capture
  • Works with eyecup widths 24–46 mm, which covers the spectrum of binoculars; designed to work with all binoculars and monoculars
  • Fits phones with widths measuring 62–104 mm (iPhone 5 without a case is too narrow)
  • Folds down to a small size that easily fits in a pocket when not in use
  • Aluminum frame with a spring-loaded phone clamp and stainless-steel hardware mean this Photo Rig is designed to get out there and be used in the field

Super crisp telephoto shots!

This product has really opened up how creative I can be with my smartphone photography! I have taken some far away shots that are super crisp and if you want to capture video, then this device is a NECESSITY. Makes it so you can be more hands free and manipulate the controls on your phone like zoom/focus/etc.

Good idea but poorly executed.

I tried to use this with an iPhone 12 Pro Max and binoculars. It requires precisely adjusting the position of the phone with a small screw and sliding phone in a tight spring clamp which is extremely difficult. If they added a rubber washer in the screw allowing some give it might help. As is the screw is either too loose or too tight. And all the moving parts are too awkward to hold and adjust simultaneously. I had to return it. It may work better on a tripod mounted scope.

Works!

Love birding and occasionally want to snap a picture to help with identification. I didn’t feel like buying a expensive camera lens so figured I try the poor man’s telephoto lens. You’re still going to get a very grainy picture with this, even if you’re using good bins, but it’ll be much better than your phone camera alone. It’s mostly plastic and the locking mechanisms are a little janky.

Couldn't get it to work

I own a pair of Nocs binoculars and a pair of small Nikon Trailblazer binoculars. I tried to hook this up to both of them and couldn't get it to work on either. I finally was able to get 1 photo using the Nikons but it took so long to line it all up that there's no way I could use it for taking photos from my kayak, which is what I was hoping to use it for. Ended up returning it. It's a good idea but hard to use (even after carefully reading instructions).

never knew binoculars could do this

Bought this as an add-on to my Nocs, and love it. Never thought I could take pictures through the binoculars! Really extended my phone's ability to take shots from far away. This will not replace a multi-thousand dollar telephoto lens, but significantly increased the use of my binoculars, and I already use them way more than I thought I would!

useless with newer phones

If your phone has multiple lenses then as soon as you get it fixed the phone switches to another lens. Had to use an iPhone 8 with single lens. Very touching setup. Get an SLR
