It works, but could improve
The reservoir works fine, but I would like a plug and play cap with an integrated 42mm befree filter. The 28 mm filter is slow and while I can put it in a pocket to prevent freezing, the 42mm filter can just be left screwed on the seeker with water inside to prevent freezing. The 42mm filter is also better for quick day use on a flux 1L, but it's annoying trying to perfectly aim and squeeze a 42mm filter to fill up larger containers. Just a thought. The katadyn gravity befree has a plug and play screw on adapter for their befree filter and I may use that in the meantime.
Seeker 6L Gravity System
I will be desert backpacking the end of August and will have to carry a lot of water with me. I purchased the clear 6L kit with the filter and tap. I also purchased a couple quick connects and hose then made my own gravity filter using a dark color Seeker 6L bag. The dark will be the dirty water and the clear the filtered clean bag. I won’t be able to use it in the backcountry for a couple months so I set it up at home and it filter 5L of clean tap water in only a couple minutes. I think it’s going to work I can’t wait to use it.
Great water storage
Bought this to take on a camping trip where the potable water was about a mile away so we wanted a large capacity to keep at the site. Held up great even after we left it hanging while full overnight. We didnt need the filter but glad to have it handy just in case.
Easy to use hard to clean
Love the product.Took it backpacking with me and it safe us from dehydration. Easy to use except one part - It's a little difficult to clean because the cap for cleaning fits only small lid bottles. I wish they made the cap that fits their seeker water bags.
Great Product, needs a bag.
Great product works as expected. It really needs a nylon bag to make it easier and quicker to hang up. I will make my own.
Great product
Great product for group backpacking and camping. Easy to use and maintain. Great features allow for multiple uses.
