Sucks Up Vibrations w/Xtra Control onDirt in Drops
LBS swapped this bar in when the Salsa Cowbell on my Bombtrek Hook EXT-C (which i built in the basement) was recalled for a crack hazard. I was not sure I'd be comfortable on the flat tops and it flares 4 degrees less, but I have come to love this bar. It flexes at the top to soak up vibration and bumps better than the Cowbell. The cowbell flairs at 24 degrees where this flair is more narrow - 12° at the hoods and 20° through the drops for much better control over rough, unpredictable terrain in the drops. It also seems to have additional hand positions than most dirt drop bars. Overall, very comfortable, maybe my most comfy (other bars are an Alloy Ritchey Venturemax and Carbon Salsa Woodchippers).
Great shape and super comfy bar
The most comfortable gravel bar there is! I had an Enve AR bar that came on my bike and it was super comfortable but the drop and reach were too much for me so I searched for a carbon bar with shorter drop and reach. I wanted the WPC Spano but it wasn't available at the time so I purchased the Specialized Terra Roval and found the shape of the drops not very comfortable. As soon as this WPC Spano came back in stock I grabbed one and am not looking back. The flat top is awesome, the shape of the drops is perfect for me and overall after 30+ years of cycling this bar is the most comfortable bar I've ever ridden
Comfort and control on all terrain
Upgraded to these over a pair of the carbon Whisky #24. Have been running them for almost 3 years now and they are fantastic. Love the ovalized flats, nice flare on the drops, lots of different hand positions. Pricy for sure, but I've been very happy with these.
