[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the warmer months I spend as much time as I can outside in nature. I have never owned a sleeping/camping pad only air mattresses, so this is new for me. My family has recommended Coleman to me & after trying this pad a bit I can definitely see why they have such good things to say about Coleman products. The quality is very nice. I’m hoping to camp more this summer so I think it will come in handy for sure! It is very very long! I was quite surprised just how long it is in person. The more the merrier in my opinion. I like how it has the feature where the Carry bag doubles as the inflation device. However, I might be doing something wrong because if I had continued inflating using the carry bag then I feel it would of taken me hours upon hours. I used another avenue instead to inflate. Next time I see my brother I’m going to have him help me use the carry bag correctly. This camping pad does the job! I love it! Durable & comfortable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1. The pad is well built and it feels premium. 2. Deploying the pad is easy and takes only seconds. 3. The pad comes with a detailed manual and stitched in instructions. 4. The pad cover needs to be purchased separately and it is not included.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am usually a light sleeper during my camping trips and wake up at every slight sound. However, with this pad, I slept as if I was in heaven. The pad is a tad bit slim but that’s alright, as the comfortability and softness makes up for that. It is insanely easy to insulate and reliable during our trips. Definitely recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I realize that this product is probably intended for backpackers, however, I am using it for a slightly different purpose. I am a Girl Scout troop leader, and I have to spend the night with the girls in a rustic cabin on top of the saddest thinnest mattresses you have ever seen. I have a bad back and bad hips, this just is not possible for me. I got this so that I could put it on top of the existing mattresses to give myself some extra comfort. Even though I am not backpacking, I do have to haul all of my gear from the single parking lot all across the summer camp, depending on which group of cabins we are staying in, so I really do appreciate how small and lightweight it is. You can use the bag it comes with to inflate it, and if you are backpacking, I am sure it’s really cool that you do not need an air pump. However, since I am not backpacking, and I need to set up as quickly as possible so I can get back to supervising the girls, I wanted to see if I could just blow it up with my existing Coleman battery-powered air pump, and yes this works very well. I love the double air valve, you open once to inflate and no air leaks out, you open it twice to give it a huge gaping hole, so that it deflates quickly. I wish other air mattresses that I have owned would do this! What a great feature!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sleeping bag inflatable mat is exactly what I needed. I often feel the rocks and twigs and such under my sleeping bag which doesn't really give me a good night's sleep before a morning hike, but with this inflatable mat that inserts into my sleeping bag, not only does it keep me from feeling all those twiggy things but it helps me to rest well on its soft and tough inflatable body. It's a must while out camping. I didn't even come with its own carrying bag that also helps to inflate. Now that's not innovative I don't know what is.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this sleep pad. It’s very easy to use, the stuff sack doubling as a pump, it took maybe 2 minutes to fill. When laying down on it it’s very comfortable, it doesn’t roll making you feel like you’re about to roll off and the fabric is such that your sleeping bag doesn’t slip. You can feel the insulation when laying on it, I think it’s rated at R3.5, not super warm but definitely makes a difference. Weight wise, it’s light (maybe not for hardcore/long trips, but great for a few days), same as size, it is small enough to be packed and not be a big compromise. It feels well made and durable, its well worth checking out.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me about 7 minutes to blow this up without a pump. I would gather the end of the carrying bag, blow into it till it was full and then roll it up on the ground pushing the air into the camp pad. Our tile is 12x12 inches so you can see how big it is rolled up in the bag. It held air overnight and neither my husband nor myself could feel our bones on the tile when laying on our side, stomach or back. We haven't had it long enough to know how durable it will be
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sleeping pad is nice. It blows up and is just like one of those inflatable pool mattresses that you lounge in, but it is much more durable feeling and filled with some sort of insulating fabric. While you could try to blow it up by mouth, it attaches to it's own bag that you inflate and squeeze into the pad. It's still not fast, took about 10 minutes to fill up, but was mostly painless. It deflates very easily and I had no problem rolling it back up into the bag without having to be too aggressive at compacting. The air valve has two settings that allow you to fill or release air separately, so there is no worry of air escaping while blowing it up. While this pad is designed to go inside one of their sleeping bags, I used it as just a pad on the floor of my tent. It's way more comfortable than I was expecting. I was on the ground with the outside temperature being around 45 degrees and didn't experience any coldness seeping through. I mostly sleep on my side and generally sleeping on the ground or other thin roll up mats will really get painful on my hips. This pad is airy enough that I didn't touch the ground at all and and was able to stay comfortable. Similar to a larger air mattress you would blow up at home. It comes with a few repair patches if you get a hole in it. Also to note is that it is extra long and almost didn't fit in my small tent. This is great if you're taller, just make sure you have the space needed!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This simple and easy sleeping pad is an all in one system. The carrying bag is comes in serves at the pump to inflate the product. A little too bulky for backpacking this is a good go to for car camping. The inflation system with the bag takes some time and energy. It took about 10 or 15 minutes to inflate. Overall the mat is comfortable for what it is providing medium support for sleeping.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this liner for your sleeping bag definitely makes camping a much more enjoyable experience. It’s easy to inflate when you’re setting up and it doesn’t take much to deflate it when you’re getting ready to go home it’s thick enough to where your body isn’t touching the floor through the pad but it’s also not so thick that it’s a lot to have to travel with its doors a pretty compactly for what it is And it comes in a very nice caring case. I know it’s not important really but yellow is my favorite color so the Merigold color was a very nice touch for me. Plus it being a Coleman product means I know that I can rely on it to last me a long time and it does seem very durable like it’s not going to pop easily.
