Hole in brand new sock, sad

i purchased two pair several weeks ago and tested them and i liked them so much i purchsed six additional pair for myself then three pair for my sister to try . The intent was to purchase more. I opened a new pair and prior to putting on i pushed my hand inside to open and prepare for my foot and there was already a hole in the toe area. I dont expect that from cheap socks, certainly not for the price i paid for these. The other pairs seem fine, however. The socks are very comfortable and I can state with new Hoka shoes I didnt experience the usual initial blisters or foot pain. I was very surprised. I am happy with them, except for the hole.

Disappointed

Just received my order of Merino 10 Max Cushion Quarter socks and honestly, I’m a little disappointed. The ones I purchased before were much heavier. I don’t remember what they were officially called but they have more cushion than the ones I just received. The local stores didn’t have what I purchased before so I ordered them directly from you. These are supposed to be the max cushioning available, and yet they fall short, in my opinion, of the quality ones I bought before. I wear them all year long even though they might be a bit to heavy for wearing in the summer. In the winter they are awesome. I’m afraid the new ones will not be warm enough for me in the colder temperatures as they are much lighter. I’ll attach a pic of the older ones. The gray pair came apart at the heel, the left foot only, but the 2 black pair are still going strong. Larry

have been hiking with these for years

I have gone through about every brand of merino hiking socks over the years and these are by far the best. they have a compression to them that no other sock has, and keeps your feet fresh eleven on long hikes. I have hiked with them in snow, and in the AZ summers and they always keep my feet fresh. I just wish REI carried the full line in store.

The only socks I wear!

This is my second time purchasing multiple pairs of the socks. I am just now needing to toss the the socks, I purchased 5+ years ago. These socks are incredibly durable, hold their shape, and maintain great support. These are the only socks I will wear when walking or jogging. While the low rise are great as well, I prefer the quarter high to keep out sand and dirt.

Minus the frozen toes

I've used Features socks for years and love their excellent quality and durability. I decided to try the Merino 10 Cushion quarters for playing tennis. During the winter I play early in the morning often starting in 25-30 degree weather. These wool socks are a great help helping to eliminate numb toes so I can actually feel my feet when I'm running.

Best hiking socks ever.

I have been hiking and backpacking the US southwest in Feetures for the past decade or so and won't use anything else. I have used them in freezing temps to 100 degree days and they always keep my feet comfortable. With their lifetime guarantee there is absolutely no reason to buy any other brand. I have tried the alternative and they don't compare.

Sizing is misleading to outright

Sizing is misleading to outright wrong. I have a size USA 14 shoe and there's no scenario these would fit me comfortably, let alone someone with a "15 1/2" as your advertising says. Also if these are "max cushion" I would not order the regular ones. I am one and done. My wife already washed them or I'd returned them.

Has something changed?

The Merino 10 Cushion Quarters are quality and very comfortable. Exactly what I was looking for and they met my every expectation. I was wondering…I purchased Merino 10 Cushion No Show Tab awhile back. Has there been a change in the manufacturing of the socks. If so, I will soon be reordering the No Show Tabs.

I've used Feetures Merino 10

I've used Feetures Merino 10 max cushion socks for almost 10 years and they are my absolute favorite. Never had a blister, great for cold and hot weather (primarily have run in Charleston and Nashville), fit great, cushy and comfy, hold up well, and the lifetime guarantee is there for you if they do wear out.

Worth every penny

I love these socks. I’m on my feet all day and they help with fatigue and the I go between 2-4 miles a day and they help with soreness. Even putting them on feels like I’m wrapping a cloud around my feet. Would definitely recommend and will absolutely buy more.
