The Mary Poppins bag of waist packs!!

I love this pack, i was looking for something to hike with kids that wasn't a full back pack, but could hold a decent amount. And this pack is the solution! Two 18oz water bottles (can also hold 32oz ones as long as they are tall not wide. These tend to hit the back of my arms and will fall out of you lean over to tie someone's shoe, but if you use the bungees that helps). I can fit my wallet, android phone (not pictured), battery, bandaid kit, and film for 3-4 granola bars in main pouch. I keep tissues, hand sanitizer and anti-itch cream in one side pouch, and usually more snx in the other. It sits comfortably on my lower waist, right above my hips. With the smaller water bottles i can swivel it to the front for access. It is sometimes difficult to get the water bottles back in, and i usually just lift it up a bit to loosen and allow the water bottle space to reform a "circle" shape (rather than be stretched taut). For reference my kids are now 6 & 10 of that's a helpful reference.

Not the right pack if you wish to stay hydrated

I was initially excited about this pack. I have an Osprey 70 liter for backpacking and the quality is great. While this pack is built with Osprey quality, they missed the mark. When on the go, it is nearly impossible to return a water bottle to the side pockets after taking a sip. The only way I was able to successfully get the bottle back in the pack was to stop, take off the pack and work it back in. Sorry Osprey, but this one is going back to REI.

Great Pack for Short Hikes

I like to take hikes in the 4-6 mile range and this pack is perfect. It has room for 2 water bottles and 3 zip pockets that hold everything else such as keys, phone, wallet, and snacks. I highly recommend.

Perfect hiking companion

This was bought for my sister because she liked my pack. Great for a hike and not as hot as a backpack. Holds 2 waters and the support in the back is great.

Savu blue!

Great little pack so far. I purchased this little hip pack for bikepacking, and it’s just what I needed. I don’t like leaving valuables, such as money, wallet, ID, and a few other smaller things on the bike, so this allows me to carry those things on my person without adding too much weight to the saddle. The other feature I really like is the option to carry two extra water bottles when necessary and I found those also work well to carry a tool kit or my MSR fuel bottle. The zippers work well, the bright blue color makes it easy to find in the dark, and it stays put on my hips. I would buy this again.

Zipper Problem Otherwise Good

Just got mine and it looks extremely well made but I gave it 3 stars because the zipper on both ends of the large pocket is very hard to pull open and shut, it's like the curved corner gets in the way.

Great product! Larger model might have been better but then I would have overpacked.

Why dlnt they make bigger water bottle carriers?

Good but as with most waist packs it wont support standard Nalgenes which limits water quantity. Got taller bottles to add capacity but almost to tall.

Great waste pack for hiking or dog training!

Great waste pack. I hike and train my dog with this pack. It is comfortable and has great variable sized pockets to carry everything. You do have to be selective as to which water bottle so it doesnt fall through but otherwise great design.

Savu 5

I’ve had the Savu 5 for about 2 years of riding 3 times a week. I never ride without it! Material is durable and the zippers still work like new. There is enough storage for a mid ride PB&J along with a spare tube, plugs, tool kit and small pump. All you need to go for a ride and come back from the ride. I would buy another but just don’t need to yet. Definitely recommend.
