Perfect for Small heads
I have a very hard time finding a hat that doesn't "pooch" up in the back when I tighten it. I tried just about every hat on in REI today and this one fit! YEAH If you have a larger head it may not work for you, but don't worry there are tons of other hats that will fit you. For us with smaller heads this is a very welcome find. Love the light weight breathable fabric. Score for me!
Low quality product
I'm quite surprised by the low quality of this hat. I expected better from The North Face, but this particular product didn’t meet my expectations. Additionally, the security tag was still attached when it arrived, and removing it was quite a hassle.
no recommended
Poot quality, I got it as light and washable style but once I washed it it got shrank. I tried to returned as part of the REI membership program, but they don’t want to accept the change as “was my fault as I don’t follow the washing instructions”. I suppose to spend a good amount of money expecting a quality product that meet an outdoor style requirements. No recommend this product and don’t recommend the REI membership as well.
Great hat for running
My husband got this hat to run in. He sweats a lot, and his cotton hats were getting really nasty and taking forever to dry. I only have to wash this hat after several runs (salt marks start to show). I toss it in a semi-structured undergarment washing bag and throw it in with the other laundry. Hang to dry; it dries rather quickly.
Perfect Cap
I love this cap. I have it in 3 colors all of which have the North Face logo in same color as. the cap so it doesn’t draw attention to the name and is subtle enough to get the name across. Perfect fit with adjustable band that adjusts easily while keeping the cap on. Washes well and doesn’t fade.
I don’t recommend it
I tried on this hat but end up not buying it. It’s too small. One size doesn’t fit all. I do not recommend this product. I used to have a North Face hat with L/XL size and it was perfect.
Thin, tony
Pretty disappointing. Nice, lightweight like I wanted, but the bill is tiny and floppy soft. May use to run but not in the sun. I have other NF hats, much better for my purposes

I love the fabric and the color, but I need it smaller I can't figure out how to do that.
