Great for all head sizes! (Actually!)
I am a petite female with a small head. The only hats that fit me are usually kids hats. I've been looking for a visor and had no luck even finding women's ones that weren't too big. I tried this on at the store already assuming it wouldn't fit because it's unisex but it did! I had my boyfriend try it on who has a very large head and it fit him too. I bought this visor immediately. This is honestly the first "unisex" item that hasn't been too big for me. I'm so excited. Way to go REI for making a product that works for everyone!
Perfect visor
I love this visor no Velcro that pull my hair adjust straps
Fits my huge head comfortably!
Apparently as a child I was in the 99th percentile for skull size. No surprise that it's hard to find hats that fit. This visor has an adjustable strap so it fits even my big old noggin comfortably. Even better the strap is a buckle adjustment, not velcro, so you don't have to worry about your hair getting stuck in it or the velcro wearing down over time. I normally wear it out sailing in some strong winds and it stays put and keeps the sun out of my eyes.
Too stiff and boxy
I have a version of this from a few years ago that seemed to fit better--this one felt stiffer and boxier and too large for a petite woman, so I returned it. The brim is quite large, which is a pro, however.
Exceeded my expectations!
This was an unexpected win! I was looking for a visor, bc I prefer being able to put my hair up high and really couldn't find anything I liked. I decided to give this one a try, and I'm so glad I did! It's super comfortable, easy to adjust, it's soft against my forehead, and as an added bonus, it has a buckle with elastic, so it's super easy to work around my hair when I'm putting it on.
Not as good as I was hoping
To be completely honest they aren't as I wanted them to be. The squish your forehead quite a bit leaving a dentation on your head when removing. I love a visor hat espesially when hiking and backing but this just push to tight in the front.

I used it for the L.A. marathon. Wicked away the sweat.
