Buckles not compatible with stock Packmod straps
The buckles on these Packmod straps are much bigger than the buckles on the Packmod straps that came installed on my REI Flash 55 backpack. So they are incompatible, which is just dumb. As standalone straps they work fine, but they could have been much more useful. A swing and a miss.

Poor on the trails.

This design is not new. Probably Osprey was the one who designed these. I was excited and bought two pairs when I first saw them. I was a bit disappointed after a few times using them in the wild. The straps get folded and do not run through the quick release buckles properly. To prevent this problem, probably need to iron the straps. I got frustrated and returned the unused pair. I then replaced the straps by cheap Amazon polyester straps. They work like a champ. The quick release buckles are good quality. I still want to buy these straps for the buckles only, but quite pricey if I throw away the poor designed straps. If the straps are used in wet condition, it is one star, btw!

REI for the win!

I bought these and the sea to summit to try on my new pack. REI for the win. Perfect size, easy to use, and held my tent on the back of my pack for three weeks.

Don’t believe the dimensions listed

These worked great for me but the dimensions list this product as 2 inches. The webbing is 1/2 inch wide.

Chest strap replacement

I bought a used backpacking pack but it was missing one of the chest strap pieces. I was able to loop half of an accessory strap on the missing chest strap side and it works as a perfect replacement! Definitely the easier and cheaper fix than trying to find the missing black plastic piece where the original chest strap must have fallen off with. And now I have an extra accessory strap to use somewhere else on my pack!

Better than I thought.

I used shock cord or some old sea to summit straps I had floating around and figured I'd spoil myself and get these for my new flash 55 bag and couldn't be happier it's great having the buckles and being able to really cinch it up good and tight. Love um.

Great Straps

Great straps, I use these on panniers while bike touring, and also on backpacks. They're the perfect length for this use, the buckles are nice and easy to use, and they stay tight. The sliding loop to secure any extra strap makes these perfect for me. If only they came in a more neutral color.

Bought a second pair. Works great!

I have bought a second pair. This is great for adding more things to your already super packed backpack. Easy to use and it straps everything pretty well, you just have to make it work for your backpck
