The shorts are the perfect length and fit. They have just the right shape/structure/stretch balance and I don't feel at all that I will be having to pick the legs out of my crotch. I got size 8, 5'5''/150 lbs.

Do you even remotely have a body shape? If so, these shorts are not for you! I usually wear a 4-6 in pants. I got a 6 in these. They are tight on my butt, and HUUUGE on my waist. These will only fit you if you are shaped like a rectangle.

These are my favorite shorts. I have the sancho shorts in mustard, clay and green, and live in them. Literally, in the summer I'll fall asleep in these they are that comfortable. This season (2024) has 4" hem and last season was 5". I prefer the 4" because I have a thinner frame and they flare out less, but people with more athletic thighs might prefer the 5". Either way, these shorts should work for those with athletic thighs. They are mid-rise and comfortable to move around in. Can be worn hiking or out to dinner. Great pockets. Love the color options. True to my usual prana size. I'd love to have all the colors.

So cute, but the waist is HUGE - like shows my underwear when standing straight or bending over it gaps so badly in my normal size. I'm 5'3 130lbs athletic build and I had to order a size ZERO (?!) to get the right fit. I'm always a size 4 normally...... absolutely whack sizing issues. They are now the right size in the waist but tight in the crotch. They do stretch out a lot while wearing and need washed after 1 or 2 wears depending on the length of time worn which tells me there is too much lycra elastane in the fabric (possibly more than the 2% advertised). Worth the purchase when they're on sale.

I purchased two pairs of these online for my everyday wear this summer. I’m a busy mom to two active boys and need pieces that are practical (ie: pockets, easy care, comfortable) and stylish. I love the colors, stitch detail, and raw edge hem. These shorts checked the box for the perfect summer short… except the waist. It’s about 1- 1 1/2” larger than it should be. Obviously, something went wrong at the fitting stage for this style. If you have a straight frame (ie: your waist and hip size are almost the same) these would work, but if you have a booty or hips you will need to get these altered or wear a belt… or be lazy like me and wear a baggy tee shirt over them. Otherwise love them!

This is a very fun, casual pair of shorts. Feels like it is great quality and will last a long time. These are A bit shorter length than I normally wear, but they are definitely not revealingly short. The fringed edges at the bottom give it a casual, beach style. I enjoy these for every day activities and casual summer days.

These are great, comfortable shorts. The fabric is thin but durable, and the length is just short enough. The waist isn’t too tight (for me), and the leg opening isn’t too tight around the thighs. They also wash well in cold and dry quickly. I did not give the sancho short five stars because of the inconsistency of the size. I have several of these shorts in different colors (along with the elle short), and some seem an entire size larger or half a size smaller. Waists can vary by an inch or more in width in the same labeled sizes. Prana needs to address this inconsistency in sizing.

I had been eyeing these for a while now and was super disappointed when I received them. Prana bottoms typically fit me so well but these fit everywhere except the waist. The waist gapped sooooo badly in the back that I will unfortunately have to return.

I purchased these short in two colors because I love them so much. I am usually a size 6, but many of my prana pants fit me pretty snug now. I read a few reviews that said the waist was "too big" so I though I would try a size 6. I was happy to see that they fit me nicely. They do stretch out *just a little* after wearing them for a day which I don't mind. They are also a little more lightweight than I thought they would be judging from the pictures, but are still well made. I'd buy more of them if they had more colors to choose from. For reference, I am 5'6" and 134lbs.

Nicer looking, not exactly hiking shorts. Wear a little loose but are very soft and comfortable. Wrinkle super easy.
