Silent and Super Sheddy

First, I went x-country skiing in an active, wet snowfall. No leakage. Then I got caught in a rainstorm that turned into a snowstorm while on a bike ride. I was in super slushy conditions for an hour and a half with wet snow accumulating on my sleeves. When I got back home and inspected my layer underneath, it was dry as a bone. On top of that, this jacket is made of a material that doesn't do the "swish swish sound," as my mom would call it. It's kinda stretchy, and for me, it fits like a glove both with and without thick layers. This is honestly one of the most impressive pieces of gear I've ever purchased.

Top 5 purchase!

The Stretch Ozonic Jacket is amazing. This is my second one and I've bought them for my whole family. It is absolutely waterproof, breathable and quiet! It makes an excellent shell to toss on if you're just a little cold and is the perfect item to pack when camping - add it to a fleece and you've got a winter jacket. It is also packable, extremely lightweight and comfy with that bit of stretch. Full disclosure - I am an employee. I've worked here over 15 years. But this jacket is one of the Top 5 things I have ever purchased as an employee. 10 out of 10.

Very happy

Great material. Lightweight, pit zips, fits great (even over womanly hips and a thin down puffer). I'm 4'11" 115lbs and purchased a small.

Disappointed

I purchased this jacket, which looked promising as it had a nice breast pocket, and zips under the arms. I usually am XS, but the info said to size up, so I sized up to Small. It was way too roomy even when I put on a heavier shirt underneath. I also did not like the boxy style, and the construction looked inferior. I have other Mountain Hardware jackets which are much higher in quality. I am 5'5" and about 114 lbs for reference. I returned the jacket.

Never too worn for the elements

A bit disappointing and spoiled by the decline in quality. I purchased one of these jackets about 10 years ago (when I was a different size) that was stretchable and water proof that was more like a fabric than the thin waterproof coated material this design was. I thought I was ordering the same. I know after a couple of hikes that coating will disintegrate from perspiration and no longer be waterproof. Sad. A sign of the times.

A good functional jacket for windy, rainy conditions in the PNW or traveling.

Rain and wind proof jacket witch a nice soft feel. Quiet when hiking and hood fits well, but the sizing is a bit off. I think it runs a little smaller than stated, if you want to wear layers. I normally wear a medium, but had to go up a size for layering and now it feels baggy. Also, the white logo is a bit too obvious. Overall a good jacket.

The arms are too tight for layers

The arms are too tight. I do not see where this jacket stretches at all. I wish I would have bought the male version. I can zip it up, but if I have a couple of layers on which is needed in the Pacific Northwest it is not roomy enough to be comfortable. Otherwise wise I love the quality of this jacket & all my other Mountain Hardware Jackets.

Love it!

I’ve searched for a while for a rain jacket that was actually waterproof as well as flattering, comfortable and lightweight. This fits the bill! The jacket comes just below the butt, is slightly fitted, is actually waterproof without being hot, and is packable. Fits true to size for real women. I really like this jacket.

Most comfortable rain jacket, EVER.

I love this jacket. It's lightweight, has the pit zips, and it still breathable for a rain jacket. This jacket is always in my gear box for camping, hiking, and biking. I'm 5' 3" and around 130 lbs and I have a size small. I also still can fit a jacket under if I need it!

Good fit and functional jacket

Great fit and looks. The jacket is not as loose to the body as the photo shows. Rain protection is very good, although I haven't yet been on a long hike on a rainy day; more of 1 - 2 hour hikes, and the jacket has performed well
