Side Sleeper Gonna Sleep
Bought this pad to replace a narrower pad of the same R value. Noticeably better night's sleep. I'm a side sleeper and did not have any issues with arms or legs falling off the pad. The longer length fits just right inside a North Face Stormbreak 2 tent. Packs down smaller than my previous pad. The inflation bag is very easy to use.

Questionable Value
A comfortable sleeping pad, but I'm afraid the overinflated price might cause it to explode spontaneously. It really seems little different than an inflatable air mattress for a pool/lake that might cost $20 at a hardware store. I cannot believe I paid more than ten times that amount for something so similar. Sure, it is a different type of plastic and has a different style valve, but this level of pricing will not be sustainable once more competitors figure out how easy it is to cooy. This particular mattress had better last long enough to provide at least 10x the value.

I Love it! Comfortable & Warm

I've been going through sleeping pads waaaay too frequently in search of the perfect pad for me. In the Boundary Deluxe, I think I've found it. I like how the pattern holds me into the pad without pushing me up with long baffles across the pad, or full length longitudinal cells. I've been using a higher R factor pad lately, and the pad just isn't as comfy as this because it seems like it pushes me upward. I do like the light weight of the the other pad, but the Boundary Deluxe isn't much heavier, and it's way more comfortable because I can sink into the pad far enough to be comfortable, while not letting me touch ground.

Sweet Dreams In The Wilderness

This pad saved my trip! I was car camping in the PNW. Then in the middle of the night I woke up to my well loved Thermorest fizzled out of air and flat as a pancake. I couldn’t locate the leak, plus it was my 5th time patching my old pad. It was time to treat myself 👉🏼 I grabbed this Big Agnes at the closest REI and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE SLEEPING ON MY SIDE! Just stop searching and buy this one. Also notable features: 💙 pump air sack is a breeze to fill 💙rolls up so compact 💙 oh so quite

Developed a leak quickly, very narrow

Developed a slow leak about a week into use. I'm unsure whether its due to a puncture or just a fault of the mouthpiece, but mine gradually loses air throughout the night to the point where by morning it would be at maybe 50% capacity after filling it up to 100% the night before. I'm a tall guy and it's comfortably tall enough for me, but a complaint is that it is very very narrow. Your arms will fall onto the ground and get cold so you have to figure out a way to keep your arms up at night. I tied my day shirt around myself and tucked my arms in to keep them up that way, but that has discomfort and circulation issues so buyer beware. Very narrow, develops a leak straight away.

Like sleeping on air! Literally!

I’ve slept on at least half of the big name pads out there. This one is my go to pad when comfort is the primary goal. It’s not the warmest pad, but plenty warm for 3 seasons. For a slide sleeper there is no issues with elbows or hips touching the ground. The quilted top make is very comfortable on those warmer nights when you aren’t zipped into a sleeping bag. At around 2lbs, its also not the lightest pad out there but when I know I just need to get a good night sleep no matter what, the extra ounces is nothing compared to the camp comfort it provides. It’s always a hard choice between this pad and the Rapide SL, since both are similar construction and comfort, but the Boundary just has that slight edge with the quilted top material. I’ve seen other reviews say that the top material isn’t patchable in the field and that is just not true. The pad comes with patches for both the top and bottom material. I’ve never needed either, but feel good knowing there are there when I go out on an adventure.

A Side-Sleeper’s Dream

I can't say enough good things about the Big Agnes Boundary Deluxe Insulated Sleeping Pad! As a dedicated side-sleeper who often struggled with uncomfortable nights on my old camping pad, this BA has been an absolute game-changer. During my trip, my Therm-a-Rest pad got a hole, and I was desperate for a replacement. I splurged on the Big Agnes Boundary Deluxe at the REI in Bellingham, and it turned my month-long PNW mountain bike car camping adventure into a dream! Here’s why I love it: Incredible Comfort for Side Sleepers: At 5'6", I’ve had a hard time finding pads that keep my hips and shoulders from bottoming out. This pad cradles me perfectly—no more waking up sore or tossing and turning! Whisper-Quiet Material: Unlike my old noisy pad, this one doesn’t crinkle or wake me up when I shift around. It’s refreshingly silent. Easy Inflation with the Pump Sack: The included Big Agnes Pumphouse Ultra makes inflating this pad quick and effortless. No huffing and puffing required—it’s a lifesaver after a long day on the trails. Durable and Long-Lasting: After two years of use, including that PNW trip and countless other adventures, I’ve only had one small puncture that was super easy to patch. It’s held up amazingly well. If you’re on the fence about spending a bit more on a sleeping pad, trust me—it’s worth it. For side sleepers especially, this is a dreammaker. You’ll thank yourself every morning after a restful night’s sleep!

Best pad I've ever owned!

I ordered the extra long extra wide and a regular size for my girlfriend. I was on the fence about ordering these for a long time because of the price but it has been the best pur have for tent camping I've ever made. We ordered and took on vacation to the Tetons, and Medicine Bow NF. Slept on the pads 9 straight nights and not a single night did either of us have a bad night. Best I've ever slept in a tent, Period! I'm 6'2 260 and never touched the ground while laying on my side. Seems to be plenty warm also. Great product!

Comfortable and warm for this tall side-sleeper

I purchased this item on sale at REI for a 2-night backpacking trip. I was disappointed that this sleeping pad didn't come with any instructions on how to inflate it or care for it, but a quick Google search steered me in the right direction. I am 6'2" and 200 lbs and this pad performed well on my trip in temperatures that were slightly below freezing. I am a side sleeper and was happy with the comfort and warmth this pad provided. It's only fault was that I slid all over the floor of the lean-to during the night. Maybe I am a restless sleeper. Packing the pad up in its stuff sack can be a bit of a frustrating challenge, but it compresses to a small form that doesn't take up much room in my backpack.

Great pad

Great pad and very comfortable. It's very quite compared to the other big agnes and the sea to summit. Very durable and the seal held well throughout the night. It is also easy to inflate with the bag that came with it.

Thick and light weight

Been backpacking for 30+ years and this pad is by far the best I've ever owned. I purchased one year ago and its still holding up very well after a two month journey hiking though Italy and three months hiking the Rocky's.
