Great bag

Wasn’t sure about the sleeping pad pocket in the back but it worked great for my little camper. Kept him warm and cozy in low 40s. He also runs warm.

No back insulation, useless without pad.

Have not used yet, but upon inspection, the sleeping bag does not have any insulation whatsoever on the back, where the sleeve for a pad is. In our opinion, this makes the bag unusable without a pad. If something happens to the pad while camping, you will be left with material the thickness of a sheet between you and the ground. The fact that this aspect of the bag isn't made apparent is very shady. We bought 3 of these for our children, thinking we could buy pads later as needed, only to find that a pad is required to even use them with any degree of comfort.

Great kids bag

Finally a way to keep the little one from rolling off the pad in the middle of the night. The sleeve on the back works great and there have been no complaints from our three year old about being cold.
