Perfect Mate for Dragonfly
This footprint works perfectly with the Dragonfly tent! It was so simple to set this up with the tent and the design of the corner connections is brilliant! Photos are attached to show how the corner strap of the tent connects the footprint, poles, and rain cover all in one! The footprint is a good thickness that is lightweight and easy to pack, but durable and a good layer between tent and ground.
Lightweight, Feels Durable, Solid Foundation
I used this product in conjunction with the NEMO Dragonfly 3P Tent as is designed. The material is lightweight and thin but feels sturdy. It is very easy to attached to the tent, with color coded clips on each end that correspond to the correct sides they should be attached. I used it in the rain and it prevented the bottom of the tent getting wet. One of the times I set up the tent, I forgot to attach the foot print before staking the tent down, and I was easily able to attach the footprint even without having to remove the tent stakes. This is a good addition to the tent, and I was even able to get it to fit into the tent bag.
Fine fly
I received this item for free in exchange for my honest review. I did not however get to use this item while I was camping because it didn’t ship with the tent and I didn’t know it was coming. The fly is just fine. It fits the tent and isn’t too heavy. More robust than a piece of plastic, but not UL either.
Perfect Pair to Dragonfly 3P Tent
I got the NEMO Dragonfly 3P Footprint to go with the Dragonfly 3P Tent and its a perfect pairing. The Footprint provided extra security for any gravel or stones that might be under the tent for setup and usage while also providing the confidence that we would stay dry. The footprint is lightweight and easy to pack along with the tent. I would definitely recommend buying this if you are getting the Dragonfly 3P tent to ensure your tent lasts as long as possible.
A must have with the Dragonfly 3P tent
This product is a must have with the Dragonfly 3P tent. It is simple to orient correctly with the color coded webbing at the corners and once it is clipped on the tent can be picked up and moved without the footprint coming off. The footprint did a fantastic job protecting the bottom of the tent from rocks and sticks and packed easily into the tent stuff sack.
Disappointing design flaw with the attachment meth
I bought this footprint to go with the Dragonfly 3P tent. The material seems good and the color coding is nice. The reason I am only giving it 3 stars is that unless you stake this tent out, the footprint attaches very loosely and just flops under the tent. For the price of this footprint and the price of the tent, I would expect something better. The reason I bought a supposedly freestanding tent is so that I could sleep in it without the fly or staking it out when the weather is nice. I can still do that, but because the footprint is so loose underneath, the sides and the edges of the tent get exposed to dirt and possible abrasion. Seems to negate the value of a footprint and I really don’t understand the logic behind this one design detail.
