I purchased the cell phone holster and it’s good but it’s a 2 hand procese to use it, open and place the phone between the clamps. I tried a one handed approach to using it. I wasn’t able to achieve that. Honestly it’s a great if a one handed approach was feasible, the reason I ask for the one handed ability is I commute via public transportation in NYC and when traveling and having to hold on so not to fall because the subway is rattling and making hard stops coming into the subway stops. I use the multi size flash light holster, pouch for my flashlight. The pouch to hold my leather man for work.
A one hand approach is possible but takes practice
I bought this after purchasing the Nite Ize holster. It works great until the velcro wears out as some complained. Then there is the possibility of the phone slipping out. I wanted a phone holder that could also accommodate a cellphone case in case I dropped the cellphone (Galaxy Fold is a very expensive and heavy phone) and I saw this alternative that is capable of accommodating almost any size case. The clamp and the rubber arms grip the phone securely. If the levers face forward, with a practice, it is possible to use it with a one hand approach. Detaching the phone with one hand is the easy part. But reattaching the phone with one hand takes practice to make sure the cellphone is well attached and doesn't fall out of the clamp.
Bad design
Inadequate. Arms that hold I-phone keep on pressing on the buttons on the side wanting to turn off cell phone. Tried different positions, does not work. May be for another cell phone brand. I will be returning it.
Squeeze™ Clippable Phone Holder
The phone retention mechanism is clever and it works well. However, once the holder is attached to the belt, with the phone, it's not 'snug' against the waist and it tends to protrude compared to a typical 'holster'. The holder might be of use in an automobile if one could locate a convenient attach point for the belt clip.

Dropped my phone at a first creek crossing on the AT. Useless for backcountry backpacking.
