This cheaper Advent X Cassette is heavier (665g)
Bought both versions of the Advent X cassette as I couldn't find the weight specs on the cheaper cassette. I weighed this hardened steal cassette at 665 grams vs 415 for the aluminum version. Both are high quality but the weight difference is substantial when picking both up side-by-side (definetely worth the $20 upgrade). Hope this helps someone that's in the same boat!
Weight difference?
The weight difference between aluminum and this is a mere .5 lbs. It will also last longer than aluminum.
