good 1st binos

These are my 1st binos, so I don't know what to compare them to, other than a Vortex monocular that was awful. Excellent eye relief for those of us with thick glasses. Easy to focus and comfortable to hold. You will see yellow-greenish halos, but I knew to expect that from reviews I read. I don't like the eyepiece covers, too easy to lose someday. REI shipped these to me in a large plastic bag, not a box with cushioning! That's inexcusable! Overall they seem like decent binos for the price if REI doesn't damage them by shipping them in a plastic bag! Does not come with a microfiber cleaning cloth, so don't forget to get one.

Africa Safari

For the price point these worked great. So great our guide asked us to send him a pair.

Disappointed after 3 trips to the store

First trip was to explore binoculars to determine if any would suffice. Second was to get help working the pair ordered which was frustrating. Third trip was to return the pair after further trials. They must work, just not for me. Hard to focus, bit heavy and bigger than anticipated.

Great Beginner Binoculars

I haven't used many binoculars before, so don't have much to compare to, but these work very well and they've been easy to use so far. No issue using with glasses. Seems to be cheaper other places, but purchased on sale.
