Dissapointed with K2 Customer Service - Defect

Beware - purchased a pair of these skates and only wore then a couple times. The buckle began slipping and won't stay engaged. Contacted K2 but because it was past the one year warranty the only thing they offered was to send a replacement buckle. The buckle is riveted in place so in order to remove it would possible ruin the skate, not to mention trying to rivet a new one in place. Brought it to a shop to see if they could help and they said they aren't equipped to do that and that it would probably cost $80 to fix.
