ALPS Mountaineering  Tri-Leg Stool

I picked this up to take to an event where seating would be limited. It's pretty light, I didn't mind carrying it around with me for a few hours. Easy to set up and pack back up. The stool has a carrying strap, but you can't use it when it's in the bag. That is my only complaint about this item, I do wish the bag had a strap on it. I'd guess it's designed this way to minimize weight, so if that's your main concern you probably won't care. Stool is comfortable enough and sturdy, even at the top of its weight range. Loved the color.

This lightweight, compact still will be great when I'm photographing birds, particularly when the ground is wet. And, not that I'm not as young as I used to be, getting up isn't as easy as it once was.

This camp stool in light, strong, comfortable and packable. Very reasonably priced.

I picked this stool up as a quick set up when stopping for lunch while out snowshoeing and kayaking. It's a great option for sitting comfortably for that lunch break and keeping you from sitting in the snow, or on a rocky beach.

I didn't fare as well as I hoped on my recent camping trip with the stool. But I think the problem was uneven ground plus upper leg weakness that made it hard to lower myself onto the unsteady stool. But I am not giving up. This is made very well and should work great the next time.

Very light and sturdy. I bring it on hikes to have a seat to rest and check out the views.
