I’ve used them multiple times they fit surprisingly well, I went with recommended sizing. Soft but tough leather, very comfortable and warm. I have really cold hands usually but not with these, over mid 20s hands warm under that I add a thin merino liner glove and have yet to get cold. They seem very durable with ropes and ice so far, highly recommend!
These mittens are fantastic. The quality is very impressive. I love that they're insulated and the removable liner has a nice texture. I use these when walking and biking around Chicago. They're definitely my warmest mittens!
These are beautifully made gloves, but a horrible design. The cuff is too small to go over my coat sleeves, but too large to go under--so I end up with the gloves smashed against my coat sleeves and lots of cold air seeping in. This also means the mittens don't sit properly on my hands, they hang slightly out from where they should. Not worth the price at all.
I purchased these mittens, but didn't wear outside. I could tell that they didn't have sufficient insulation to be warm enough for AK winters. This was unfortunate becuause they are beautifully constructive mittens and fit well.
Very warm but 1) thumbs are cold and 2) palms are sweaty. Use in 10-20 degree weather in Boston. Any chance this is user error?
