Smartwool  Nordic Full-Cushion Crew Socks - Men's

This item says online that it is men’s, but what arrived is UNISEX sizing, so what I received is too small and I have to return and try again. If I can get the correct size, I think these will be perfect!

I’m returning these socks I bought last week from REI. They stink! Expensive, but cheaply made. Falling apart after one wash. My final response to Smartwool, after two days and 10 attempts to submit feedback to Smartwool’s customer service : “So, after all the back and forth for two days and requesting so much from me, you come back with this?! (jumping through your ridiculous hoops; likely because your feedback/ return link is broken?!!) Why not just boldly, honestly state that your products are not “guaranteed”.

I have been using the previous color (blues with red and white stripes) full cushion Nordic socks for several years and they are by far the best skate skiing sock I have, I have a lot of different brands. The past two seasons I have skied in these socks at least once a week during a 4+ month season. When it is cold or a long ski I always use the Nordic full cushion. Glad to see the only real change to the Nordic ski sock is the color. I look forward to having more than one pair this season! Now bring on the snow.

These come in Unisex sizing. They are bigger than the womens L that I usually buy and that is why I only gave it 4 stars. They are very warm. I hope they will shrink a bit in the dryer. A few years ago I bought the womens PHD in the womens large size and I was hoping these would be the same. Those socks were PERFECT!!! I decided to keep these because they are so warm & comfortable but they don't really hug my feet like the womens size L does.

I use these socks for everyday boot socks. Work and play. Very comfortable with just the right amount of compression. I also like the cushy feel and added warmth on cool mornings. I also prefer to wear a thin liner or thicker on cold days. This particular batch is a little long for my short calves, but no worries; I just roll to needed length and proudly show off the USA flag. As always a great sock.

I am so grateful for these socks. I've tried a variety of different brands of wool socks, looking for something that'll keep my feet warm, but none of them could ever really get the job done. These socks do. I use them for just about everything, from everyday wear in the winter to hiking in the snow, and they keep my feet warm and comfortable. I'll definitely be buying more.

Smartwool NORDIC FULL CUSHION CREW SOCKS were purchased for use in my new Merrell artic grip boots on a ski trip this past weekend. I loved the fit and feel of these socks. My feet were warm and the full cushion was Uber comfortable. These socks are going to be used a lot this winter. I had no problem washing my socks on the delicate cycle and hanging to dry.

If you are looking for quality socks. Once that stay put. Have a nice cushion. Don’t get hot. Feet stay dry. They look and feel awesome. Don’t hesitate.
