Kahtoola  MICROspikes Traction System

I’ve used these on a few trails now, get them. You will not be disappointed. Even in the iciest conditions these have proved to be worth the purchase. Words can not describe how well they work. I’m posting pics to help.

First started using these in Anchorage, AK 2010-14. Then here in Montana, Missoula, then Red Lodge. They are great on flat icy conditions, but sloped ice, be careful! They have lasted me 2-3 years a pair generally. And I am out 5-7 days a week running/hiking/dog-walking all winter. I have tried other devices, these have been the best.

If you're a woman's size 9 and unsure whether to get the small or medium since size 9 is listed for both -- I got the medium for standard hiking boots and they fit great, not loose or anything.

I bought these spikes before heading to Norway in February to view the Northern Lights. Based on a previous trip, we didn't have spikes and slid all over the place. These spikes gave us the confidence to venture out since we didn't slip in the ice and snow. They may seem tight when you buy them but they will stretch out and can be easily placed on your boots. Wonderful purchase and I would highly recommend this product.

Purchased these based on employee reviews and let me tell you they did not disappoint. We experienced our first arctic freeze here in North Bend, Washington and while everyone else was falling down my husband and I were able to take walks and keep a somewhat normal exercise routine while everyone else stayed indoors.

My husband and I have used these microspikes for years. They are truly reliable and high quality. Recently purchased a 3rd pair for my son, who will be hiking in snowy/icy conditions with us. Don't go for knockoff brands, Kahtoola is the gold standard for spikes.

These microspikes are a must have for hiking on icy trails. Living in the Northeast icy trsil conditions are increasing. Microspikes are perfect for hiking in those conditions. Used them the same day I bought them and was very satisfied. I used them mostly on in slick snow, walking up some steep inclines. Could not have done it without these sturdy spikes.

These micro spikes are great for pure ice or packed snow. I feel very secure and safe from falling with these on my shoes.
