The new technologies in 4D Mag snow googles are great! The bird's eye vision is actually amazing, you don't notice it much when trying them on indoor but you see so much more down shredding down the slopes. The magnet installed frame and lenses are very convenient for the interchangeability of the lenses and the locking mechanisms are simple yet optimally secure! ChromaPop! can't beat this crisp clearness. Super comfortable and stylish shades, thank you SMITH!
No glare no moisture inside easy to swap gorgeous lines
These goggles have a great field of view and the excellent optical quality I expect from Smith. These actually replaced a pair of IOs that were fogging. I found the tighter seal around my nose with these prevented the fogging problem. I only have three complaints: 1. The strap is short. It barely fits around my helmet even wen maxed out. If you wear and XL helmet, I can't see how these would fit. 2. The lens change system is nearly impossible to work with gloves on or while they are on your face. The magnetic system is not an improvement over the old system because of this. 3. Why are we still calling this "Asia fit." There has to be a better way to describe a fit for low nose bridges that doesn't revolve around racial stereotypes.
Smith is the best goggle company. I had a small defect on my old smith googgles and submitted a warranty claim. Very quickly my claim was approved and I received a credit which I used to get a pair of the 4D Mag Goggles. With the magnetic lens attachment, changing lenses has never been easier. Chromopop and bird's eye view give the best vision available with any goggles on the market. Shipping was extremely fast. This is the number one company for your outdoor accessory needs.
Nice thick, sturdy straps. I had the I/O Mag S and the strap broke from the base after 25 uses so SMITH gave me a credit and I chose the 4D as an upgrade. Nice birds eye wide lens overall feels sturdy and lots of foam around the nose. I have my mask lightly tucked into the nose area and goggles never fog. Much bigger / heavier goggles but I appreciate the extra space inside the goggle allowing heat to disperse away from my skin easier.
Holy crap! What a great product! The low bridge design on these goggles is exactly what I was looking for. Gone are the days of wind, snow and ice whistling through the gap between my nose and my goggles. No more eye watering on the fast, steep bomber runs! Super comfortable even with all day wear. Perfect pair with my Smith Vantage helmet. Great field of view and they look badass! Highly recommend for my low nose bridge crowd!
I’m a weird fit between Regular and Asian fit. It does make breathing through my nose a bit difficult but the overall fit is perfect and I’d rather that than having goggles fog up. These goggles have top shelf feel and view. I would like to try the regular fit and see if it would work for me
I’m very happy I spent the money on these goggles; my vision is superb while skiing. Doesn’t fog up at all!!! Recommend the first thing you do when finished out on the slopes, place these goggles in the case and use an extra cloth on the inside so the strap doesn’t scratch the lens.
Connor Ryan’s design is a beautiful work of art! That aside, the 4D lenses, with the low bridge fit, make me feel like I’m wearing nothing on my face. Comfort, and visibility are better than I’ve ever experienced! Again, the design is a head turner, and I look forward to more!
Not cheap, but this is a you-get-what-you-pay-for sort of google. Great optics, extra wide peripheral and vertical field of view, not a hint of fogging, and it was easy to swap to the low light lens from my jacket pocket on the lift late in the day when the light went flat. The anti-fog vent at the top of the goggle is so extra there were a few runs when I was bombing groomers where my forehead got a little cold from the venting. The Low Bridge fit has the normal amount of foam at the nose, which was a better fit for me (I tried the regular version first but there was a gap at the nose). The included hard case is extremely well laid out, with a pocket for the spare lens and a mesh vent hidden in the bottom so the you can throw your goggles in and not worry about needing to leave them to air out when you get home. There’s also a cloth goggle bag and a primary lens goggle sock included. Again, not cheap but certainly high quality. Also, the strap clip at the back was a nice plus for easy on off when using with a helmet.
