Warm and waterproof fleec lined pants
I could not wait to review these pants. They were perfect for my Antarctica trip. They kept me warm and dry. I was never cold or wet in the snow or on the Zodiac boats. Worth every penny I spent. They were better than ski pants because they stretch. I used a mid weight or a light weight base layer depending on the weather.
Alpine Skiing
These are my go-to outer pants for warm (>30 degrees) alpine skiing days in the Midwest. I think they’d be better suited for colder days if active skiing time was more than lift time or for more strenuous activities like hiking/Nordic skiing. I’ve also been able to use these as a mid layer under my snow pants for <15 degree days. I don’t like to be cold or stop to warm up! Sizing was about the same size as my jeans. I found them to be at least water resistant if not waterproof. Snow melts on them and water does not bubble on top, yet my wool thermals were dry when I took them off. I would buy them again.
Incredible but size up!
Used these ski pants on a 12 day UT/AZ hiking road trip. These pants saved my trip due to the cold snap. Weather was brutally cold/windy in the mornings. These were toasty! You can wear a base layer under. Size up. I’m normally a 4/6 but needed a 10. They fit/look amazing. You’ll have that swishy sound when you walk, but you’ll be unbelievably warm. I didn’t overheat in them.
Perfect for Anything Outdoors
I bought these pants for my trip to Antarctica based on another reviewer's recommendation. So glad I did! They were perfect. Warm, flexible, comfortable, dirt slides right off, looks good. I wore them more than any other clothing. Today, back in the states, I wore them outside in the snow for a hike. Temperature around 20F. Ice on the creeks. Short story is I stepped on the ice near the shore for a picture. Took a second step. Fell through. Being close to shore I was over confident. With my boots I figured I'd only go in several inches if the ice broke. But I fell in mid-thigh. I pulled myself out, stood on the shore and was shocked to realize I was warm and dry. The inside of my pants were dry! I watched the water roll off. Only had a little water in my boots. I promised myself to go home and write a review for these pants which I almost never do. They deserve it. I hiked for another 2 hours and never was cold. Thinking of buying another pair. For me, they were true to size. Have worn them under snow pants for a second layer and also on their own.
Amazing pants!
Great pants! Got them in black and white. I’m a size 26/27 jeans, size 4 fit perfectly.
Haven't worn these out in the snow yet and can't speak to longevity. However, they seem to be good quality and are exactly what I was looking for - comfortable soft shell pants that are flexible and not too stiff, which seems hard to find in women's wear for some reason. For size reference, I am 5'6", slim built, with a 25.5" waist. The size 2 fits great and matches the measurements provided in size chart. I do wish there was a little more length in the inseam, but I'll likely just cut the stirrups off since I tend to use gaiters over my boots anyway. Excited to use these.
These snow pants are amazing!
Fit true to size. Limited use on the slopes so far, but in general these are such a gem of a purchase. I'm using them as multi-functional pant..i.e. when I need a lined layer to keep me warm on a cold morning bike-ride. They are breathable in a way, and the perfect thickness. Not suffocating. Just perfect fit and absolutely flattering on the leg and rear. Love the side zip design it sucks it all in. The sheer under-the-foot loop is epic. HIGHLY recommend if you can buy them in your size!
Great for winter hiking
Sized up one size and they fit great on both my waist and legs (I typically need "curvy" fit jeans). Comfortable and flexible for hiking in winter. The only downside is they only have one tiny pocket. Would rate higher if they had usable pockets.
Perfect for cross country skiing
These are perfectly made for cross country skiing. They fit great, the fabric is flexible and comfortable, and they kept me super warm and dry, even with falling in the snow.
Great sport pant!
I usually wear a size 4 but the size 6 fits perfect. Stretchable fabric. The lining is soft & comfortable. Great quality.
